Griselda Reisinger, a former colleague, said Farook worked as a food inspector for the department.

“He was very quiet,” she told The Los Angeles Times. “I would say hi and bye, but we never engaged him in conversation. He didn’t say much at all.”

A man who identified himself as Farook’s father told The New York Daily News his son worked as a health technician inspecting restaurants and hotels.
“I haven’t heard anything. He worked in a county office,” he said. “He’s married and has a kid. We’re estranged because my wife got the divorce, and they are together. She doesn’t want to see me.”

He added that he had not seen his son for some time.
“He was very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back.

Malik and Farook were husband and wife, according to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, while the police would only say they were "in a relationship".
However, Farook's colleagues at the Inland Regional Centre - where 14 people were shot dead and another 17 were wounded - told the LA Times that he had gone to Saudi Arabia and returned with a new wife, whom he had met online. An unnamed family member identified the wife as Malik.

He was a loner with wife of 2 years (and from the confusing narrative looks like he found a new or second wife) and he has a 6 month child.

If he has a 6 month child then he has probably been in at least a 15 month relationship with her.

Do you agree that it should be illegal to drive drunk? Does making it illegal stop people being killed from drunk driving? Of course not. Does making it illegal stop the absolute raging alcoholic from getting in his car and driving home from the bar? Of course not. Does it stop a whole lot of people from driving drunk? Yeah it does and if you genuinely think that making drunk driving illegal doesn't save a chit ton of lives, then I got bad new for you. Same chit with guns. It won't stop people from being killed in mass murders but it'll stop a whole chit ton of other people from getting killed.

Your analogy doesn't make sense. You say because drunk driving is illegal there are less drunk drivers so if we ban guns where will be less mass shootings. For your analogy to work out you would have need to ban alcohol as it is the object. We banned the act of drunk driving, just like we banned the act of murder. That would be the correct analogy.
Also clearly you don't understand the difference between other first world countries and America. If we ban firearms criminals already have millions of illegally possessed guns. No way we can round them up. Would be terror for all civilians then.

That's not entirely accurate. I consider where I live safe. America, for the most part, is safe. There are areas in every country, probably even yours, where you avoid.

No matter how you look at it, most of America is safe. Ghettos are generally small areas of large cities and not every city have them. Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Atlanta, Baltimore and a few other cities are responsible for most of the mass shootings which are mostly gange related.

The point is not all 354 of those "mass shootings" are some random guy walked into a school or mall with the intent to kill anyone and then himself. Most are gang related drivebys etc in gang areas. Simply compare the mass shooting rates in America to those of other countries. It's unprecedented. So I'm not sure how you're looking at it, but the fact that most Americans have been conditioned to believe mass shootings are a normal occurrence is just pathetic and unnecessary.

The original guy I quoted said that America was safe because most of the shootings happened in "ghetto" places. So yes, he was clearly inferring that those places are somehow not part of America. And the fact that they are a normal occurrence in this country desensitizes most Americans to it compared to people in other countries where mass shooting don't take place as often.
