Facially he has maybe a similar jaw, and a copied haircut.
Aesthetically he looks nothing like arnold. No clavicles, rib cage, chest, biceps / i.e., any of arnold's hallmarks.
It doesn't matter that it's a marketing scheme. Saying that he's not the one that categorized himself with arnold, but it's okay and he shouldn't be compared to him even tho he goes along with it, is absurd. When you put yourself in someone's category, their own league, which is the case with someone like arnold, that he is in his very own league, you're naturally going to be compared with him. It's like you really can't help but do it. When you do something so much like someone, intentionally or not, for business purposes or not, it's going to lead to a comparison and you're going to lose. Not because he has a bad physique, but bc he simply, literally, can not be arnold, bc...he's not arnold. So it's just stupid to put yourself in someone else's category.

I think we all need to remember that Eugen Sandow went out of his way to look like old Greek and Roman statues, to the point that he measured the statues, so he could get the perfect physique.
I'm not going to debate if this guy looks like Arnold or not, but to try to mimic what is viewed as a perfect physique to some, is deeply routed in bodybuilding tradition/culture.
I don't get why anyone would knock this kind of approach.

Kinda related...did you guys see the photos of Arnold this week at that climate thing? Dude's 68 years old, looking pretty damn healthy for that age. I know, he's got all kinds of makeup artists and whatever, but still, I'd be stoked to hold up okay at that age. Seen some fugly pics of him at times but he's looking okay now.
Fall in love with the struggle.

Hmm. Maybe you're right. I guess I'd become used to seeing terrible looking pics of him in some recent years, so that when I first saw this, I figured it was a recycled old pic. I do agree that 68 is no longer old, especially in light of the effect of wealth, so I think it just took me off guard that he looked pretty solid.
Fall in love with the struggle.
