Well the Leland luck has struck again. I've been waiting 7 days for a tracking number from the boots and rearsets I ordered so I finally sent them a message asking for a update. The track weekend was this weekend so I figured I'd go do at least one day maybe. They got back to me within minutes saying they will contact alpinestars. Then they messaged me right back after that saying they found the problem. Alpinestars had listed their inventory wrong so instead of having the black and white pair of boots I ordered they shipped the all black pair to them. They asked if I wanted those. Which I do not but I'm also needing a pair since mine are gone.

That wet sanding isn't a joke. I've painted about 7 bikes. It's takes a while to get it flat enough to start cutting, but I'm a perfectionist.
Wife and I were car shopping a few months ago. I was shocked at some of the waviness on some of the paint jobs on the lot.

no, im worried about the clear. its too thin as it is. has about the equivalent of 2 light coats or one solid coat.
to sand i would def need to put more clear on it, which i probably should anyway. but sandibg is not my favorite activity and i guess it is a track bike so i might say **** it.
do you guys think i can spray more clear over this now that its dry?

Fuhhh... someones got vids. My new S8 is too big for me to get out of my pocket with the case on it. That or the positioning on my CBR vs DRZ with my S5 Active just makes it a lot harder. I ride with a bunch of stunters and use to post them up on my SC story whenever we were riding.

Groms are the most overpriced pieces of **** out there at the moment. Bikes for a 16 year old chinese chick who is 1.1m tall and on L plates.

I'm pretty sure I got mine up to 69 going down a nice long slope. Mine took long enough to get up to speed stock that I was getting left behind on long straights with everyone else. But they all weigh under 200lbs. A friend and I swapped groms because he had a pipe and filter. I definitely picked up a lot more speed and my friend and I were pretty even off take offs with him on my stock. Sure once we got to topped out he would creep away. It's been a few years though so it's hard to remember exactly.
I don't think I ever tagged mine past a temp tag. I did one long ride with them that day we swapped. Tons of backroads to downtown, then around downtown for a bit, then backroads home.

love the SV. been a great bike as a first one.
120 on the interstate nearby at night
the time that uneven paved lane (picture the outer half of the lane having new pavement) sent me across the yellow in the middle of a turn at 55mph. stayed up, but more freaked out because of what could have happened had a car been coming the other direction*** Misc Cigar Crew ***

Was about to pull the trigger on gsxs 1000 this weekend from a dealer...Saw an add wednesday night(before bed) on craigslist for 06 cbr600rr, full stock, one owner 1500 miles. Went to see it, the bike was practically brand new. Couldn't resist it- and bought it for $4k.

dealer offered the 690 enduro to me for ~9800 out the door. Trying to sell my quad in the mean time (they only wanted to give me 2k for it and i think i could pull 3-3500 with a private sale). hopefully in a month or so ill bring that sloot home.

Will do. Its a 2014 suzuki ltz 400 with about 15-20 hours on it since i bought it brand new in 2015. I lost the factory foot guards and it needs like 10 black push pins for a few of the plastics, so thats why they offered me such a low price (lmao). I wasn't mad though, just would like to get a little more out of it.
