Guys should I use suicide grip or normal grip on these exercises, OHP and Bench
I find that using a suicide grip is much easier rather than the normal one.

I do suicide/false grip on OHP but never Bench for chest.
I find I can bring the bar to upper chest on OHP with ease and fire it off with the most power using false grip. When I use the full grip, I can bring it to my upper chest but eventually either my forearms or shoulders do not feel right about it. Everyone I work out with started full grip but eventually changed to false grip.
For bench, I grip the bar hard as possible and exert a lot of energy through my arms (and chest of course) to move the weight as explosive as possible. Fully gripping allows the maximal force for that.
On a side not, sometimes I CGBP false grip though. Easier on shoulders. But I'm very wary about doing it and usually switch to full grip once it starts getting heavy.

As mentioned safety should be a first priority.
A couple years back there was a college football player that crushed his throat using the suicide/thumbless grip.
He even had a spotter.
He lost it so quickly bench pressing the spotter couldn't help in time.
He lived but now talks with a whisper.
There is evidence that the thumbless grip could be easier on the shoulders and a better neuro/muscular activation but unless you have a bench press that has safety bars on each side to protect you it just isn't worth it IMO.
Overhead press is different and safer as you can just drop the bar if it slips without much worry.

I use a thumbless grip on ohp, when my elbows are sore. But you gotta squeeze the ever living **** out of it. but if it does go, it hits the floor, not your face/neck.
IF, and a big IF, you use suicide grip on bench please use a rack with safeties up so if you do drop it, the safeties and not your face take the impact. All in all i bench more white knuckling the bar THUMB around, so i dont use suicide grip on bench anyway.

I see no benefit to this at all and I would never, ever recommend doing this on bench press of all exercises. It is extremely dangerous. I've seen someone drop a bar on their chest, thankfully not their neck, and it was not pretty. Was kind of scary to see honestly.

I would consider a false grip on OHP to be acceptable, and even beneficial for many people as a helpful form cue with little real risk. I wouldn't say the same for bench press.
