    Creatine for teenagers?

I don't take creatine, I'm just curious about the pros and cons of creatine for 15-17 year old.

    >>Since I didn't really make it clear, I don't take creatine and it never really interested me to take it as I plan on competing in amateur boxing in June and that's a sport where you have to watch weight (i heard creatine may bloat you). I have pretty good nutrition and don't take any supplements at all other than fish oil and multivitamins. I just want to expand my knowledge on different types of supplements.

At 15-17 you should be sticking to a proper diet. Worry about supplements later.

At that age range you'd be focusing on building foundational muscle - as in learning how to recruit your muscles properly.
While also focusing on form - so your movements before efficient (consequently able to lift more) and you prevent any injury (more so when you start to lift heavier weights later on, mastering form is essential if you wish to progress to heavier weights without snapping something).
Also breathing techniques are a great practice.

Creatine isn't required, if anything IMO, you would want to focus on the above to get a strong perception of your natural capabilities, also since you aren't focusing on maxing weight, creatine is unnecessary and you will probably incur an injury if you try too before getting your form down.
A great diet + sufficient protein (food) + good workout regime = beast
Supps IMHO are only needed after 2+ years min. of working out (at least 17-18) and generally, only when you start to plateau in gains!!

^ answers above are good guidance. at that age they should be working on building a solid foundation of training and eating right.
