While doing RDL, is the back (Middle) supposed to get sore? I don't feel pain on the spine. My muscles around the spine is sore. It goes away after I foam roll.
Also my hamstrings don't get sore. Is it because I am not bending enough?
If my hamstrings are a lot stronger than my back, then would that explain my symptoms explained above?

learn to stabilize the weight with your lats while you're holding the bar. continue to stabilize the weight with your lats while performing the set.
when use your lats to stabilize the weight you do this you can keep the bar close to your legs and not let it away out which can cause back muscle soreness and possible injury.
it's far easier to do this and keep position if you unrack the bar from lower hook settings outside of a rack than picking the bar off the floor.
