I have tasted multiple I.P.A's (over 50) in my extensive drinking career at a ripe 4 years. (calm down oldies). I have been disgust at every single one. It tastes like somebody dropped sour warhead spewage and i get the nastiest after taste every single time.
Now these are always really expensive which is even a bigger joke so i force myself to down it since i ain't wasting a beer i have opened or was given for free, but they are just ****ing nasty
Is this a long complex troll job!?
Did people burn the phuck out of their tongue and roof of their mouth 1 to many times on pizza / hot pockets / frozen chicken pot pies / etc. and can't taste **** anymore so an IPA just rapes their mouth and they feel alive again!?
What is the deal here.
Cliffs:
-IPA's are gross
-Older people tend to like them more, IN MY OPINION (hence the loss of taste buds and loss of feelings in overall life satisfaction so need a heavy beer to get drunk faster...? idk
-Regular Beer Crew
Miller High Life or bust
hue...hue...hue.
i'm srs though.
PSA: Op's favorite beer is a Stella or Spaten....but no thx jeff to ipa's!

idk, I've liked some but they're not my favorite type of beer. I prefer other ales (porter, Belgian, amber, dark) and darker beers in general. I prefer malty flavor to hoppy flavor, in general. but some people seem to really enjoy them, I guess it's an acquired taste (like scotch).

I like all styles of beer. Including IPAs. Fruited sours, barrel aged stouts, imperial IPAs. Zero fuks. I like big flavor.

Perhaps. I went crazy in college....like every other maggot in the world but that was just to get sloshed to get confidence to talk to any girl that was seen that day.
Nowadays, rarely drink so may take 20-30 years before I can drink an IPA. go the bathroom. stare at myself in the mirror. take a deep breath and say to myself
"dam, that was amazing"

Not that serious.
You either prefer your beer more malty, or on the hoppy side. IPAs are your go to for the full hops taste. Some American Pale Ales are good also. Just depends on your preference.
Enjoy your apple cider, ******* OP."a wise man told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who.."

For me, I went from Miller/Bud to Sam Adams to Sierra Nevada to full blown beer snob.
The transition to Sam's was crucial as it's still easy drinking for infantile palates, yet has a fuller flavor than the pilsner piss water. There is simply no other exercise, and certainly no machine, that produces the level of central nervous system activity, improved balance and coordination, skeletal loading and bone density, muscular stimulation and growth, connective tissue stress and strength, psychological demand and toughness, and overall systemic conditioning as the correctly performed full squat.
