Das it. My specs which I haven't upgraded in some years
Cpu: i7 3960x OC @ 4GHz
Gpu: two gtx 670's OC in SLI
Ram: 16gb ddr3 hyper-x
Psu: 1200w
Case: haf-x
Will post a pic of it soon but haven't upgraded in some years because I haven't been into the tech PC scene much lately. But getting back into it and it's the GOAT. This PC still runs fallout 4 and black ops 3 etc on high settings with no problems. Love it and it hasn't failed me till this very day.

In on first page with battlestation of peace
Old pic but the only thing that has changed is that I added more routers and switches in my little rack so I can study for the CCNP.

It's pretty basic, going to be my NAS server.
It should have been finished by now but I had to pay a tax bill that would've bought the HDD's twice over.
Bitfenix Phenom mITX
Win 8.1
Intel G3258
Noctua L9i low profile cooler
Asus Z97i-plus mITX mobo
8GB Kingston Hyper X Fury 1866Mhz RAM
Crucial 120GB M.2 SSD boot drive
4 x 5TB WD Red drives (still gotta get these)
Silverstone Strider 550w 80+Gold + short cable kit
200mm Bitfenix white LED fan
140mm Bitfenix white LED fan
2 x 120mm Bitfenix white LED fans
Haven't done any cable management yet as I'm waiting until I have the HDD's installed.
Planning to run RAID10 for 10TB of usable space.MFC

19 years ago I escaped my mother's placenta & never looked back. My father held me high into the sky over pride rock like Simba so the city would know who was on that real nikka shiit. Teachers often ridiculed me & told me I'd never be sh*t. They were so worried about my lackadaisical efforts that I was recommended to a psychologist. After numerous one on one sessions & neural scans it was discovered that money was on my mind.

yeah, I had Win10 on my machine since launch date (July?) and realized that my issues with driver crashes/black screen/hard reboots came after i clean-installed Win10.
I like 10 in terms of speed and efficiency but i'm downgrading back to Win7 for the stability. Hopefully the gaming performance doesn't take a hit or anything

copypaste from the old thread, would like some input please brahs
i dont need to upgrade my card, but i still might have to get a 970...
Edit:
Before i pull the trigger, i remember hearing about coil whine on 970's when they were new. Is this still a problem? Is a TwinFrozr a decent choice? my current 660 is twinfrozr and ive been happy with it so happy to buy twinfrozr again if they dont have any problems
Double edit: I know the 970 is still fairly new, anyone know or can predict (based on past gaps between generations) when the next line of cards will be out?Hairy chinese kid
