I find it incredibly frustrating that all the left wing/progressive people/governments who preach tolerance and acceptance are supporting and defending a religion which preaches the exact opposite. "It's not a problem with Islam! It's only a small minority, they aren't true Muslims!" I wish the world wasn't so f**king stupid.

In all seriousness, most European countries have small right-wing nationalist movements that would make the Tea Party fringe go "whoa, slow down".
France's has been gaining clout in recent years. The French mainstream will react harshly to this to avoid losing more votes to them.Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

More are being born though?
1.6BIL muslims.
800,000,000 women (assume 50/50)
Lets assume 10% are in the age range to get pregnant. That leaves 80,000,000 women who can be pregnant at anytime. Afterall, men in their culture can have multiple wives and I'm pretty sure they don't believe in contraception (too western).
Out of those 80,000,000 lets assume only 1% are actually pregnant.
That leaves 800,000 pregnant women. Divide that by the number of days in a year and leaves about 2,200 born each day.xTUNAx

Incredibly unfortunate and tragic, but not exactly surprising. Involvement with the Middle East never ends well, and France has been involved with the Muslim world for over a century.
And this is why miscers shouldn't talk about politics or world issues. France (like many other European nations) is a country of extremes. Their right wing is far more conservative and to the right than ours. Trump may be a novelty here, but Europe is full of guys who talk like him. It's not like the U.S. where we have one political party that's slightly left of center and another one that's slightly to the right. It's why France has gone through about 20 different governments in the same span that we have only had one.

And so the hate speech begins: Let Paris be the end of the right’s violent language toward activists
Real terror unfolds in Paris. Perhaps this will convince the right to tone down their incessant violent rhetoric

A lot of it comes down to narcissism. It's not hard to see that history would look more favourably upon people who are working towards helping others, the greater good, fighting inequality, etc. They want to look like they're doing the right thing so that they can broadcast it on social media and get their 15 minutes or fame and also to show that they are on the right side of history. Same with politicians. A lot don't want to be remembered as Hitler 2.0, so they go the opposite and act like yesmen so that people will write favourably about them and so that they will leave a positive legacy.
Most of these people don't give a chit about their actions because they live in bubbles and will be largely unaffected by it. It's easy to sound like a good person and say that we should all help those who aren't as privileged when you're not the ones who are going to be feeling the effects of unfiltered mass movement of a population that has no respect for the local culture or people.Aria Company crew
