What is the consensus on the Rogue RM-6 power rack? Is this their best rack and is $1,875 a decent deal for Black Friday? Hoping to do the 5 for $5. Any other suggestions, like is it worth it for the upgraded j-cups, the crossmember options etc.?or any other help would be appreciated. The options make it a little confusing. Thanks!

I like mine. if my memory is right, that's $100 cheaper than when I got mine last year on Black Friday. I'd go with the sandwich j-cups (I didn't and I should have).
I went with the multi-grip pull-up bar, "rogue" name plate crossmember (will be additional costs) and safety straps for my options. I also substituted for the 30" crossmembers in the front part of the rack (vs. the standard 43" ones).

Thanks! I selected the 43" single pull-up bar for crossmember 1, then added the following note/comment when I was checking out (see point #2):
"RM-690: 1) I'd like the 30" crossmembers from the RM-3BT instead. 2) For crossmember 1, I'd like to substitute for the RM-43M multi bar (I'll pay for the substitution fee)"Last edited by mrcheeze36; 11-26-2015 at 12:38 PM.

I'll hold out for the RC rack, lol.
I need to give them a call about cutting it down. Hans didn't seem too happy to do it, but maybe I can talk him into it to fit under an 8' ceiling, or I'll just wait. Choices, choices...
It's not like I need an 8'3" rack? I'm 5'9" with a 5'8" wingspan, lol.Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

Was checking yesterday to see what new HOT DEALS Rogue added. They put up a bunch of T shirts at $25 ea. But that's the every day of the year regular price. So why were they added up there?

Domicron - Would you please confirm whether this is the CAP-OB bar you have talked about in the past.

Current price is $142.25
Amazon has stated there will be a flash deal on this bar at 8am Central tomorrow.I used to think my only choices were Kate Moss thin or Delta Burke happy.

Anyone know if Adam Ant Barbell or Dumbbell Buddy ever have BF deals?
Looking to get iron plates. Or if there is anyone else that I should look into for plates (Troy Premium of HO plates or something comparable)

If you go to the bottom of againfaster's website. They have blank competition plates at a their blowout deal. Basically $1 a pound for competition plates. 500 dollars ships free. No reviews on them but regular price plus freight shipping would have put what I bought at 1500 and I got for 504 shipped. They are out of 45's. They are also out of all their barbells

I have several types of iron plates. I have the cap standard plates, I bought the in 2000, and they are decent weights. My ivanko standards are a little nicer and deeper dished but otherwise not too different. The caps may not be cast as well now but they are probably better then the dicks stuff that would be priced against now!

Wow these went up in price since last year. I think the trick back then was to order it from Walmart and ship to store. If there was any issues with it, you can always take it to the store versus sending it back to Amazon.
Is craigslist not an option for weights?Ivanko Barbell Crew #61
