Thanks all. Below is my final review.
Ergogenix Ergoblast - Pineapple Mango
First and foremost, big thanks to Team Ergogenix for allowing me the great opportunity to log this product. I have really enjoyed the logging process and the response I have gotten from supplementing with Ergoblast.
Taste: 10/10
And I mean it. 10/10, no doubt. Unbelievable taste. The Pineapple Mango is refreshing and not overpowering. I would compare it to Tang, an orange flavored drink I consumed when I was a kid. I found that mixing this product 10 oz. of water with 2 ice cubes was the trick. Most pre workouts lose their taste with more water (dilution), but Ergoblast did not. Way to go R&D team at Ergo.
Profile 9/10
I am a big fan of the profile here. You are getting a serving (3g) of creatine mono and 6g citrulline malate (most studies show this is the needed amount to reap the benefits of CM). I am a HUGE fan of the non-proprietary blend here as well. That way, you know HOW MUCH of each ingredient you are actually getting.
Energy and Focus 8/10
Really good focus and energy most days. Although it is hard to pinpoint just how well a pre workout supplement is in the energy department when other variables such as sleep and workday stress need to be accounted for, I did feel like I was focused and energized a bit more than usual before training. I just competed in a full power meet prior to the week before starting supplementing with Ergoblast, so I was essentially in a recovery phase for the most part while using EB. But I did reap some pretty good benefits such as increased and focus during training.
Pump 8/10
Hit or miss here. Most days I train, I use a undulating rep scheme which is percentage based on the big 3 making it hard to gauge the "pump." However, on my accessory/bodybuilding type days, I did notice an increased pump since rest periods were typically shorter and volume increased. I do recall having a few sessions where the pump was almost painful.
Overall: 9/10
Definitely going to purchase some Ergoblast to have for myself. This product is truly one of the better pre-workout I have used. I am HUGE fan of the ingredient profile and the unmatched taste. Thank you to Ergogenix for the great opportunity and I look forward to seeing what else is in store for you all.
If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.
