    Just cardio while cutting

    Ok since I can't add muscle while cutting, and since I'm just starting out with training, would it hurt me to just do cardio and very little weight training. It's not like I have muscle to lose

    No I want to do a cutting phase to cut the fat I have now and then start putting on the muscle.

    You can run for like 10 minutes before your work out, then lift hard for your workout. Getting rid of fat when there's nothing under it doesnt make sense.
