I remember buying supplements from 1999 when I was in high school. Everyone on my football team started buying Creatine and Ripped Fuel and Andro when Mark McGwire said he used that stuff. They also took Mass Gainers or weight gainers, these were the worst they would bloat you and make you fart or have the runs and either tasted really chalky or way to sweet.
I remember the most popular supplement brand at the time was Twinlab and EAS and G N C, MetRX, Universal Nutrition, Designer whey stuff. Muscle Tech was known for their funny ads with Lee Priest bloated and lean. People used to take Weider supps too but they tasted so bad.
The supplements that I would always buy since I was skinny were the Weight gainer or mass gainers, I used to down those in water and chug them because they tasted horrible, but I remember buying the Myoplex MRP's in pouches and they were so good at the time but expensive.

This is about the time I started supplements as well (actually 1997 for me).
I remember I was a HUGE EAS guy. I had the book by the brothers and I would read that like it was my bible (supplement bible I guess ) and used Phos****en, HMB, Myoplex, you name it.
Then I smartened up a bit over the years, starting taking less and less (and spending less and less) and getting better and better results. Go figure

I remember Pinnacle. Used them a couple of times. Those times was my only venture to the dark side ( legal ). But I was in college tryin to get swole at all costs. Good thing I was a PT and knew about proper dosage and err...what to do during/after etc.
Original and first T-Bomb. MHP. Was ridiculous for strength. Ridiculous.Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

Damn, you beat me to the Ultimate Orange! I can still taste it if I think about it. Also supplemented with a lot of Stovetop Stuffing...poor college kid at the time. And the Twinlab Creatine fuel packets sold in a box. Man, I had to tell my lifting partners back then to give me about 30 mins notice before they were ready to go. I would down that nasty shake and then have a blowout about 20 mins later. Those were the days!
