    nerve impingment

    just diagnosed by orthopedist

    started like this

2 weeks severe pain thru shoulder and arm
2 weeks extreme stiff ness in shoulder
2 weeks pain free now, but 0 strength in right arm

he said physical therapy would work. and im fine to keep working out, my becnh is down from 275x3 to 225x3. i cant do one pullup. i cant squat

    my questions

    1) anyone have this type of injury? how long to heal

    2) how would you modify your workouts ?

Depends because if the nerve is still trapped and you continue to lift you could be doing more damage and nerves take months to heal, but if you have no pain what so ever then i guess you can start building back up slowly.

I hope you understand how broad "nerve infringement" really is. It is like saying you have a muscle strain with no other info.
