I don't buy protein for a couple of months and now I can't find SAN tit whey for under $50 a jug.

Your crazy OP. SAN actually had a price DECREASE about 3 months ago.
If you really look at it 23g of protein at 75 servings is like getting 19lbs of chicken breast and I dare you to find that for $49.99 and if you do take out all the water weight and having to prepare it. At this point even though protein powder has gone up a lot of the last 3-4 years so has meatsLast edited by GetRippedInc; 10-13-2015 at 01:44 PM.

Optimum Nutrition
Bio X
Starting to? they have been using it to boost foods of protein for decades look at baby formula and the birth of children foods in the US in processed goods markets.
It maybe being utilized in more ways to reduce the real meat in some things but it has long been used - the current trend in more protein rich foods has brought it to being used in larger amounts in cold cereals which are garbage imo to give it some kind of "health" view among adults looking to relive childhood perhaps.-- Microwaves everyday crew --

Lol not on a per serving basis it not but I love syntha-6
I have used a lot of ON - it is def not nearly as flavorful as some of the newer options but in milk/almond milk its not terrible and your right it is not something I typically buy anymore so I'll give you that!-- Microwaves everyday crew --

You mean all those stupid "healthy/organic high protein" snacks that fat people scarf down by the bag/bar fulls from earth fare, whole foods, trader joes etc. is making the price of my protein go up? Makes sense, everything above 3g protein is touted "high protein". Always funny when a coworker comes to me with almonds or something and is proud of themselves for eating a "high protein" snack. I love seeing the confused/sad look on their face when I tell them their snack is actually mostly fat (don't even bother getting into the healthy fat part) and that 6g protein per 24 almonds (again most people have no clue how small a serving size is) is 160 calories and 15g of fat. Mind = blown. Side note, eggs and specifically egg whites, has gotten out of control.
