You think it would be risky using it up to my comp then dropping it a week or so before? Not sure of the half life. I had a great workout on it today

Anybody here have their EQ. stance that is different than their Raw squat stance?
My Raw Squat is very narrow.. inside shoulder width narrow..
When I first tried the EQ. I used my normal stance and I keep losing balance. After a few sessions my EQ. stance is outside shoulder width and it felt better.. even with wraps only this is the case.
So I tried using my EQ. Stance RAW and my groin area doesn't like it.
Asked a few equipped lifter on insta and I got mixed answers. My Powerlifting "Road To Manlet" Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172129323

First time in a shirt last night (super katana), couldn't touch anything to save my own life but it was super fun:

I squat a little wider in gear, always try to bring my raw stance out that far but never with any success
It was glorious
Did you try to hang on something? It takes time to learn the strategy of how to wiggle them up. Trust me I train with dozens of equipped lifters and the main factor in how fast they can get it on isn't the tightness, its how well they know how to wiggle and jiggle and lunge771/645/622 Single Ply

I wouldn't worry about touching. Do some board work to get in the groove and break the shirt in. Seen vids of some of the better equipped benchers breaking in new katanas who have used em before overload with a crap load of spotters and weight and couldn't touch.
One guy took 3 session to break it in. Was aiming for 2" board at end of day but used 3" till last couple reps. Second session worked all 2" and couldn't touch. And this guy had 650 on the bar almost all the time.

I'm a little bit wider equipped but not much. Raw I'm just outside shoulder width, equipped I'm just a little wider than that.
Looks great for first time in a shirt!
Need to stop watching this before I stay up all night. Watched the first one. Hope the rock shows up

What he failed was a USAPL out of meet test prior to Worlds. It was done on May 31st but the results didn't come back in time for Worlds. So he was still on the team and I guess we're fortunate that he didn't make weight. Had he made weight, he may have won, been tested, and gotten another international failure for USA.

If you open it in the app you can swipe right to see more in a multi-video post. If you're on desktop a little right arrow will show up on the right side of the video when you mouse over it. I only know this stuff because I work on a college campus hah.
That explains the 40:1 ratio. We had a guy pop in competition at a local meet a few years ago with a ratio like that. Obviously didn't think we'd test him. We had another guy run out of the venue when he realized he'd be tested. I should PM you the story sometime for lols.

One of the guys at our gym is a good lifter, not great.... no 500 wilks probably around 450 single ply. He's been tested 4 times at 4 meets and at 2 of them he was so airheaded he didn't understand he was getting tested and started to walk out of the venue.... Imagine getting suspended for general dumbness and getting a refusal to test for that
6 days out of my first bench only meet and can't say that I'm as nervous or excited as a powerlifting meet. Jumped the gun a little and signed up for a full power meet in Dec at -120 to help decrease the lackluster motivationLast edited by Torrtrefireto; 09-05-2017 at 06:33 AM.
