If I had to fight a knight with a 1 handed weapon I'd go for a mace too, probably still take a fair few blows to take him down though. If I could chose a two handed weapon it would probably be a billhook:

Depends on the gun, where it hits and from what range.

Going off of a few tests I've seen I guess it would protect you against a 10 yard shot from a 357 Magnum. then again it's very difficult to take off so against anything more powerful you'd bleed out before you could have your wounds treated.

The website advertised the chain leggings as "generously sized" but I couldn't fit anything underneath them. Next upgrade is plate armour for arms and legs and at some point I'll add some extra rings to the leggings so I can fit something more padded underneath as well.
