The top 50% of people in a 50/50 win. So unlike in tournaments/league/gpp/etc games where you have to put out a GREAT lineup to win - if you put out a good LU chances are you'll cash. It's low risk/low reward.

Let's say you when you first start out, you hang out in the $1 range 50/50s. You enter a $1 50/50 with 100 entries. If you place in the top 50 - you'll win $1.80. Obviously not big profit, but if you enter 10 of these contests with the same lineup - you're walking away with $8 in profit. Or enter 10 $3 50/50's and walk away with $24 profit (you win $5.40 each $3 50/50).

More you put in - more money. If you do the research - it is incredibly easy to consistently cash in the 50/50's.

Casual fans deposit money, almost exclusively enter the gigantic tournaments hoping to beat out legit thousands of people (a lot of which are seasoned career fantasy geniuses), and expect to win the grand prize and become a millionaire overnight. So it's really no surprise when I hear a lot of people lose money. They treat it like it's a lotto scratcher and expect to win without putting in the research.

I stick to bulk 50/50s and some double ups trickled in depending how confident I feel with my lineup. And guess what? My money steadily grows. I'm not CEO'ing or even close to it, but I'm slowly building my bankroll which slightly increases my overall profit each week because I can enter more 50/50s.

TL;DR
- retards join fanduel with the $25 deposit
- retards immediately join the $25 entry fee tournament against thousands of people
- retards build a sh*t lineup with half the lineup comprised of players from their favorite team
- retards place bottom 5% and their account is zero'd out

The real issue with this which DFs pros like Tommy G agree is Fanduel/DK letting their employee's play DFS on other sites. Such a conflict of interests when you see sensitive information.

Having DK Pros FD reps making LU's and stuff is just a bad idea

but yeah, if you're just looking to slowly build up a bankroll, 50/50s are the easiest. you just have to beat out 50% of other users, and it doesn't matter if you come in first or the last person in the winnings as you'll get the same amount.

Don't blow that deposit on day one and it won't be a problem

Pretty sure fanduel actually matched at the time of deposit a few years ago when i first joined their site. And yes I realize that you'd be playing with house money essentially but just like in casinos when you get comped for some things it keeps you around and playing.

Not hard to do, script can be built in less than an hour. These guys that are employees of DFS sites write code. They code for a living (Matthew Boccio also manages the pricing model and database). Ethan can code as well.

That data regarding Player ownership is PHUCKING HUGE advantage. Not to mention what other insider info that wasn't leaked that they probably had info on. Data on the Top 50 players/'Sharp' picks % owned (sleepers % included) ? You can easily take into account what the majority of the top 50 players choose and add that to your sheet and crunch out some players/values.



It's not a big deal to these morons on this thread that have ZERO understanding of game theory behind Guaranteed Prize Pool and mathematics.

One example:
-Match top % owned players
-Generate dozens/hundreds of lineups (can be optimized using their own projections) but add in players that have high ceiling and are low % owned add to the lineup.
-Have enough lineups and there will be little variance because using the top % model. (The generated lineups will always match up with the top 100 people due to knowing owned %)

Think of it as knowing the first few numbers of the lottery and adding in a bunch of numbers at the end to try to match a ticket. (Sorry cant think of a better analogy). You will hit all the time if the majority of the players are right on their picks because you will be sharing the same players, but as to your advantage, you will have added in extra guys that may produce well, thus beating out everyone.

Finish hard in the paint almost everytime.
