What does it really take to become a IFBB pro? I have been training for 3 months now 100% natural and the results am getting are great. I am 16 years old.

ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.
IFBB brahs über alles.

But there's one important thing needed to be added. It's CONNECTIONS. Knowing people in the field will really help your career. Arnold was known for being close to Joe Weider and it's no coincidence that he won an Olympia or 2 that were controversial and that he's the most famous bodybuilder of his time (and ever since he did acting but that's a totally different segment)"Quiet boy! Where is your honor?.. Like all pure blooded Saiyans, Kakarot would rather die fighting than win with one of those disgraceful senzu beans as his crutch. Kakarot trained in the hyperbolic time chamber just as we did; now let's see what he can do."

I think that they should just say, “Hey, if you guys don’t talk, you have to see Hercules In New York.” I guarantee those guys would talk much faster. You don’t need to do waterboarding or anything else. That’s the ultimate threat.''

1. God given genetics. Good genetics isn't enough, you need freak genetics
2. Complete and utter dedication, training hard consistently, never missing a workout meal etc
3. Spot on diet
4. Money money money for your food, training and "supplements"
5. Last but not lease the spot on knowledge of how to use "supplements"

Don't let these guys bring you down, not many of them even compete and if they do they aren't winning shows.
I remember asking that exact question at 16, and I put my heart and soul into this for many years. Don't have the best genetics in the world, but with hard work and being consistent I was able to win a few shows. For now man, just keep lifting and eating. Don't over complicate things. When the time is ready, you will eventually need to juice. But since you've only been lifting for 3 months, I'd just enjoy the ride until you start to look in the mirror and say "yeah, time for the next level."
Good luck man

Ask a Ifbb pro. You will only learn who likes which bodybuilder, and how to be negative in this section. There were pros here like Dex and Phil. The people posting here chased them off. Go ask Chris Aceto, Hany Rambod, George Farrah, or Dennis James with a fist of hundred dollar bills. Thats how you get a real answer. Hire a reputable coach. Prepare to spend thousands to compete and make no money til you're a top ten pro. Be the best you can be natty and enjoy living to be 70 yrs old. My two cents. I like how some of you answered when you have no clue. Btw I have no clue either. I have an idea, but thats just Bs we read. We dont know. Its a cut throat selfish sport. That part we do know.

William James Sidis taught fourth dimensional mathematics at Harvard at the age of 11.
Mozart wrote his first compositions at the age of 5.
Magnus Carlsen became a chess grandmaster at the age of 13.
This.... is the kind of genetics you need to be an IFBB pro. One in a ten million. The kind of genetics that allow you to build muscle far beyond what most bodies would refuse to in spite of any stimulus. The kind of genetics that responds to hormonal enhancement in extraordinary ways.
Then, you need the kind of mental fortitude to forego your entire lifestyle for this one goal, for oh say 10 years or so. Your entire life will revolve around your eating schedule, your sleep schedule, and training.
You must spend tens of thousands of dollars in illegal ( assuming you're in America) androgenic anabolic steroids.
You must manage to stay mostly injury free throughout this process.
That might get you your pro card. After that, you need to perform a bit of oral sex or be even more talented than everybody else.
Easy peasy.Weight on the bar, food in your stomach, more of both = more muscle. Don't make this harder than it is. - VikingMan
