I'm pretty sure Kai needs to win a contest to qualify so he can enter the 2016 Mr. Olympia contest. The question is, which contest will he compete in or will he even compete in 2016? Especially the 2016 Mr. Olympia?
What's your thoughts?

As long as Phil doesn't do the Arnold, he is guaranteed a win provided he shows up in decent shape. It has the highest prize money after the Olympia, however it's fairly difficult to peak twice a year. He could always come at 70% and win a 3rd tier show with a weak lineup, in which he doesn't have to peak. My guess is he will go for the latter.

One more thing I forgot to mention. I'm pretty sure it was a legal problem that caused him not to compete at the Mr. Olympia because in all of his interviews and posts, Kai says that he can't say more at this time. If this is true, this will probably prevent him from competing at any other contest as well. For how long is the question?

Technically, past Mr.Os are supposed to need to qualify.
I recall Kai speaking about letting competitors grow through the ranks, which means that he'll most likely not do any small shows.
Out of respect for the other competitors, I think that he'll aim for the bigger shows (any AC).Last edited by RoroCwalker; 09-22-2015 at 03:09 PM.

Kai will do the Sheru Classic.

Only the winner of the AC auto qualifies. It's just like another show.

lol people saying Kai should retire. I don't like the guy, but he appears to be in his prime. Why on earth would he retire?
also lol at conspiracy theorists claiming he'll never win another IFBB event.... they love this guy, and he brings in a lot of fans. He'll win whatever show he enters.
and lol at ppl saying it's so hard to peak twice.... in an ENTIRE year... come on

Since i started following bodybuilding, the more people compete in a season the better they come in. I wouldnt be surprised if most people will look better this weekend.
Not always but majority looks better unless they competed like 8 times that season and their body is just not responding anymoreGrainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. So grainy that it hurts your eyes

Lol at people saying it's hard to peak twice A YEAR , most of the top Olympia guys didn't even come in good shape for the O!
They had a whole year but hardly any came in good shape. I dont just mean full I mean actually low body fat.
Shawn Rhoden and wolf did the European circuit a few years ago and got BETTER as they went.
Kai got BETTER after the Arnold at the Australian pro, so don't tell me its hard to peak twice.

Exactly what I said. Wolf and Rhoden almost improved every show. They would lose fullness but they were coming in more ripped every time.
wtf is that right hamstring hahhaha
i know the lighting is better too but holy crap. look at the detail on his back, arm-delt tie in and even chest striations which are so rare on wolf. one of this best packages of all time. i would put it in my top 5 wolf performances along with 2011 arnold, 2007 olympia, 2013 olympia, 2014 arnold europe(doesnt look good but nasty conditioning)Grainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. His other extremely underrated showing 2010 Australia.
How about Sheru Classic or Arnold Classic Europe's? He all looked better a week after probably from less stress, figuring out body, drying out more. It is almost always the case. If I were these guys, I would compete in the Atlantic City show a week or two before get a free win an 10k check and cruise until the show and come in shredded.Grainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. I believe Kai is doing the AC Europe. Where he will most likely grab the W and his 2016 Mr. O qualification. It seemed that he did peak for a photoshoot where he looked amazing. I'm thinking it should be an easy win for him in Europe because its less stress and the show is ran a lot smoother that the O.

True...but then you got last year where Wolf and Rhoden got worse as they went while Dexter got better and ended up beating them.
So i think there are probably different factors involved. Like if they didn't diet enough, then they can get better by staying on diet. If they absolutely peaked, it's probably harder for them to hold on to that for multiple shows.
Agreed with folks that Kai seems to get better from doing multiple shows. Again, you had last year where he had to pull out from that European show where he was in 4th at prejudging, but that's cus he was sick with some sorta stomach issue.
