Trying to cut down from 240 lbs at 30%.
I want to cut down to 10%.

Eat clean and get moving. Exercise can be a great appetite suppressant. EC stack works, but you have to be in good health as it can put strain on your cardiovascular system. Also, before a meal, drink a glass of water and also stay hydrated throughout the day.

When I really need to cut, I also cut my volume in the gym. No way I can run something like PHUL or PHAT and stay in a calorie deficit. Too hungry.

Then I start pre-logging my days. I know when I tend to get hungry, so the night before I get out my food scale, log and pack foods to go that work in my day. I tend to eat high volume, so sometimes it will be a whole cucumber or yellow pepper. Sometimes I screw up...and I have to chew gum and have a diet soda. (I don't "eat clean", sorry).

BTW-I also crave salt. So I put salt on the cucumbers and pepper. Probably solved.

    Appetite suppression 101:

    Eat.
As above said eat clean but eat plenty.
I for one eat 4 times a day and I only consume 1500 (I'm on emergency holiday cut, don't judge lol).

Pick the right things and count calories and you'll be golden buddy.

X50 Green Tea helps me and it tastes like cordial, so do diet sodas like Coke Zero and Pepsi Max. I have learnt to deal with hunger though as I do intermittent fasting so it's easy for me to control.

OP I also got bit more info for you

During the 24 hours following a binge, your blood sugar will fluctuate wildly.
This will cause false hunger and a powerful desire to eat more sugar and/or carbs. Don’t. Sip on some black coffee or herbal tea. Go for a walk. Do meaningful work. Just keep yourself busy and forget about food.
Often people can have "one last blowout". Worst thing you could do. It will cause false hunger.

Other than recovering from a binge you should eat clean, low and often

    EAT CLEAN.

OP. Eat what you want. Within moderation.
Heck. Make sure you enjoy what you are eating. It aint all chicken, rice n broccoli.

If you want a slice of pizza. Have a slice of pizza. DCA, IIFYM.

You are craving it because you are AWARE of what you are actually eating for once.

You just need to understand that you won't die.
Over a few weeks you will become adjusted and the cravings will subside.

Food is a hell of a drug and only noticed once you deprive your good self of the luxury.
Ride it like you just stole it.

For me, it is a matter of keeping my mind busy. That is huge.

Also, lots of fiber rich foods to fill you up and low cal. Eating frequently has helped me, I have 7 meals on non training, 8 on training.

Everyone is a little different though, have to figure out what works best for you which usually requires some trial and error.

I guess if you are determined to lose the weight then you do not have to do anything to suppress your appetite. It will comes out naturally.

Diet sodas, tons of water, and high protein.
I've always found keeping protein and fat a little higher keeps me feeling full throughout the day. The EC stack won't hurt either, but I would save that for when you're lower bodyfat, and really have to dig deep to keep your calories low.

Coffee and keeping busy. For many long term fatties boredom and hunger become the same feeling and then you are really screwed
