anyone find it strange how, despite cases of racial profiling and discrimination occurring in the united states on a daily basis, this particular, completely banal and unremarkable story managed to receive so much attention, spurring activism nationwide and landing itself on the front page of every major news outlet in the country around the same time obama began discussing the prospect of harboring refugees?
probably just a coincidence though tbh

09-18-2015, 02:43 PM #364When 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed, a high school student in Irving, Texas, was pulled out of class Monday and into a room where four police officers were waiting, this is how one of the officers responded to his appearance: "Yup. That's who I thought it was." The officer reportedly said this after taking one look at Mohamed, the Dallas Morning News reports. Mohamed said he and the officer had never seen each other before.*former 310 pounds fatty crew*

OK *******s here's the bottom line
A Muslim kid brings in a fukking box that's a clock to school for no other reason than to show his teacher. The "engineer" teacher says "cool but you probably shouldn't show anyone else" clearly because it probably looks like a fukking bomb.
The cherry on top is the fukking thing DINGS in his backpack which is how he got caught.
So you, a Muslim brown kid, build a "clock" using a beat up metal pencil box that looks like a bomb and fukking beeps and people are shocked when he's accused of purposely building a hoax bomb? Hell no, it sounds exactly like what he was being accused of. Yeah, everything may have been sorted out without him being booked but he was being charged with building a hoax bomb and for damn good reason.

A 10-year-old schoolboy is facing expulsion after teachers called the police when he brought a bright orange imitation gun to a ‘bring-a-toy’ session.
Little Jayden Taljaard took the replica handgun - which does not fire or make a noise - to a regular Friday class where pupils can bring their own toys.
But staff called the POLICE after three teachers reported feeling ‘threatened’ by the toy.
Theres literally a million fake gun stories but none got this attention. Why? because libtards crying racism$0 or $1 million crypto crew
