A young woman has hit back at all those she claimed 'judged' her over her 'pretty' appearance while she was growing up, explaining how she finally felt confident enough to embrace her 'beauty' after years of trying to dull down her looks.

Felicia Czochanski, 20, a junior at Fordham University, wrote in an essay for Cosmopolitan.com that, because of her 'blonde hair, big hazel eyes, 34DD breasts, and toned calves', she is constantly scrutinized for her appearance - while her other achievements go unnoticed.

'Coming to terms with being perceived as "beautiful" wasn't easy,' she explained. 'It soon became how people knew me. People seemed to forget or simply ignore my accomplishments."
