Minorities didn't have it better back then nor did women. With the spread of the internet and information age, people are seeing what really goes on in the world today. This deters violence to a lesser degree and promotes more justice in general. The world has always been messed up though. Nigerians are one of the most successful groups in America. The successful asians are in most cases from western asia( china, japan,etc), southeast asians score far less than western asians in test scores. Once again, education is a long stemming problem that started with the racial segregation and never really recovered. You're acting surpised that when America placed certain people in a contained area and gave them **** housing, **** education and **** everything, that the children who were born from the people who were never able to escape the ghetto are causing issues. Of course immigrants from other countries who weren't submersed in that culture would do better. They themselfs or their parent's didn't have to go through that ****.
