IRL, 3 plates is more then impressive, I've been at it for almost 4 years and I still haven't hit 3 plates, just hit 285 last week, hopefully will make it before my 4 year lifting anniversary.

Walked past some guy benching 3 plates with a 2 inch ROM the other day. Safe to say that I was not mirin. He probably came home after that session, logged onto the misc and started bashing people with benches below 3 plates. Moral of this long and largely irrelevant story is to not take posts on the misc too seriously.

legit hardly ever see someone bench 225 for reps at any gym i go to, few non natties do, or heavy as fuk people, but just general under 200lbs lifters its fukin rare in my experience.

I train with a guy that is ranked as a top 10 181er and his goal is 4 plates...395 is his best thus far. It's no joke.

He has been powerlifting for 15 years and not natty.

I went to one of my countries most sought after athletic all boys high schools, half the people I see representing the country/playing pro sport on TV went to the same high school I did.

The only man, and I say man because he was on steroids at the age of 14, I knew in the whole school to have been able to bench more 225lbs for reps was on steroids and had been competing in bodybuilding comps since 15.

It took me 5 years of training to be able to naturally bench 220lbs for 12 reps, no random kunt in high school can do it, they must have been training for a while/on gear
