Microwaving oats mixed with milk and whey protein... ok???

I make oatmeal with protein powder in my microwave. Will the heat alter the properties of my protein in a way that its results may not be optimal anymore?

Cooking the whey does not change the nutritional value. It is fine.

Personally, i find that when the whey cooks, it gives the whole dish a funny texture. This is why I always cook my oatmeal, let it cool a bit, then add whey.

whey is heated to many hundreds of degrees Fahrenheit during processing. i think it can handle the microwave
