Yea we really don't have to worry about WR. Jordy, Cobb, Adams, Abby, Janis is just stacked, maybe better than Jennings, Driver, Jordy, Jones in 2010/2011
This team really just needs an ILB, TE and to resign Raji/Starks/one of Perry/Neal and I think it's the most complete team in the NFL.
I expect an all-time great offense next season.

everyone keeps talking about a TE, Richard Rodgers IMHO has been pretty damn good, he is still young, very athletic and his hands have improved quite a bit. I see no need to draft a TE before round 6 because of this. I think depth at ILB/OL/DL need to be addressed in the draft and if Lacy doesn't cut the fat we may need to look at a RB in the off season also.

crazy highest and lows this season. so disappointed. pack should have won, and we would have be charging into carolina.
I'm still just completely gutted that we lost. Its unbelievable how much pain packers fans have had to endure the last decade. we just keep getting our hearts ripped out on the last play of the game.

So many feels during that game.
Was coaching today and ran into Don Beebe (became friends with him last year after coaching his daughter) and we were talking about the arm strength it took for Rodgers to throw that ball falling away and moving to his side. He told me he saw Jeff George throw a ball on his knees 50-60 yards. Also said furthest he ever saw Favre throw was about 70 yards. Was a pretty cool conversation, we were both heart broken over the way they lost last night.*Only drive manual crew*

stop it. if we go for two and don't get it, there would be a huge uproar calling MM stupid as fuk. He did the right thing going to overtime, we just didn't get a chance to get Rodgers on the field.
I will agree last year the conservative playcalling killed us against the Hawks tho

Tbh, I was all for going for 2. After you complete two hail mary's in one drive you have a ridiculous amount of momentum is on your side, and their moral getting smacked. Defense would've been tired and our guys would've been pumped.

As a cards fan, I was more worried about Janis/Abbredaris when I heard Adams was out. I was genuinely counting on a couple Adam drops. And as for "give him more time", those other guys just had productivity issues, whereas Adams seems like a numbskull. He doesnt seem to have any special qualities (speed/size) that make him worth the effort of developing.
Altho you know who does have special qualities worth developing? Jeff Janis. I wasnt surprised by his big game. Kid was a freak at the combine.

Tough season for us but towards the end we at least got to see a good look out of our newer recievers. If Davante Adams starts next year I may just choke myself, Janis/Abb/Montgomery have enough talent to overtake him in the depth charts.
More so than our wr situation, it's amazing that Dom Capers still has a job. I'd be all about Lovie Smith coming in if it were possible, we have the talent, our coaching staff just seems to enjoy making us look like ****. Hopefully we keep our defensive unit in tact and better for next year.

Gonna be interesting to see who resigns/who gets the boot for our free agents. Some I'd love to see stay, a few I'd love to see go (Don Barclay can hit the road)
Crosby is the most obvious re-signing.

if nick perry could stay healthy he would be a no brainer to re-sign.

I wouldn't trust the packers offense or the refs. The packers receivers were mauled on the last 2 drives and there were no calls. That's what put the packers down 7 and that's why they needed 2 hail mary type passes to tie it at the end instead of a more conventional drive. Putting the whole season on 1 play would be tough. I had all the faith in the world in the defense because the cardinals offense wasn't doing anything all game. The play that put them on the 3 yard line should have been a 10 yard loss and a sack. It was just a bunch of guys overcommitting.

There is so much we can take from this game and so much we can be pissed about. We played well enough to win, but we didnt. We outplayed them in all facets other than the scoreboard. Thi biggest gripe i have is that we didn't even get to touch the ball in OT! When da fuk is th eNFL going to wake up and fix this? How is this fair at all to either team? We played a great game and lost on ONE blown play. Regardless, looking forward to next year. Love my Pack... GO PACK GO!!

There is no way Adams won't be back this year. I think part of his problem besides the injuries is that the expectations were too high of him. Without Jordy he was really expected to be the #1 outside WR this year, and he just wasn't ready for it. So that, along with the injuries and the drops really shook his confidence. He has a lot of talent and I would expect him to grow more next year when he is really the #3 WR behind Nelson and Cobb.

I agree. I had (still do) high expectations of him. He did seem to be coming back around before latest injury. We'll see, but i think he still may turn out to be very good. Add a healthy Abby, the continues improvement form Janis and Montgomery...and return of Cobb and Nelson....could be VERY potent!

Never understood why they didn't give Janis a shot during that slump when no one could catch anything. Sub 4.4 speed at 6'3 and 230 lbs. I know his route running needs work, but when all else fails just chuck it his way and see if he can make a play, we were losing those games any ways it was worth a shot.
Either way, excited for next year. Outside of te, we have a stacked offense, very solid defense (outside of maybe ilb) and with everybody healthy should make a deep run.

Really Want to See JEFF JANIS as the #2 receiver next year.
Nelson and Janis near the sidelines going deep, with Cobb in the slot.
Lacy in the Backfield , Rodgers under centre.

still can't believe we didn't win...everything was coming together the past 2 weeks and we give up 1 fuking play and thats it.
really excited with what we have going into next year but damnit all we had to do was put up 1 defensive stand and we could be playing next week....

lol
its like you expect players to come in and be amazing from the get go. That rarely happens. Sophomore slumps always happen. There is a reason that Adams was a 2nd round pick. He has talent. I'm all for Jordy and Cobb coming into next year as the top two recievers and Monty/Janis/Abby/Adams all starting off on the same level. Whoever performs the best, gets the playing time. But saying you wouldn't even want Adams back is just stupid.

I still can't believe Rodgers hit 2 Hail Marys this year. He probably will never get another one considering the odds. He's used up his magic
