I have no idea specifically how it works, but apparently there are ways where once someone attacks a base, regardless of what they did, you can pull all of the information about it - including trap locations and CC troops, and then practice attacking it offline. Or something along those lines.

I haven't been air raided by a farmer in months and I got two Loonion attacks today within three hours of each other? Yes, I went off shield, I always go off shield; the vast majority (like 95-99%) of my defenses are TH snipes and I have had less than 750k in gold all day.

One got my DE storage, but I don't need it till my PEKKA is done in 8 more days. The other did not do well at all.
I have two ADs maxed for my level, my sweeper is currently being updated - the successful attack did take advantage as the attack came from that side.

Crazy! You just never know man. I just started up a clan war today (looks like a favorable match-up, totally excited about it). I have enough DE to upgrade my Barb King, but I want him for clan wars. And I have enough Elixar to upgrade one or two things, but I want to keep my supply high for the war. So I'm sitting on 25k plus DE and over 3M Elixar, and people are still just sniping my townhall and moving on.

Yay or nay on my anti 3 star?? My clan only has 10 people, im 3rd strongest (everyone below me is townhall 8). So im thinking my main goal is to stop from getting 3 stared, then 3 starring their guys right??

any suggestions, or if someone makes me a base ill rep em lol

No i didnt max townhall 8 before going to 9, but im refraining from building the x-bows and most of the new buildings until i catch up.

The double giant bombs to the east...next to only one defense isn't as likely hogs will go over them.

To be a sneaky **** I'd put them between the archer tower and cannon to the west, straddling the wall.

true, im still learning hog pathing and such.

In wars? all the time, im usually faced against a low th9 like my self.


My regular base has the townhall outside, im more worried about wars.

Just had to put this out there, there is no such thing as an anti 3* TH9 base. But word of advice, I would not put all tes in one compartment.

I don't think the DGB in the core will work either. If hogs hit either air defense first, they will path to the tesla, no? Or they'll go from air defense to the wizard tower. Only situation I can see is if they are coming from the east and the appropriate wizard tower is already destroyed, that seems unlikely.

I wouldn't have a lot of faith in the core double, but at least it has defenses to either side, the one to the east has almost no chance at all though.

Ideally you want two doubles, not on the perimeter, not by the AQ, not by each other (opposite sides of core/TH/CC seems best), broadside between two and only two defenses.

That was my point, if you're try to lay the DGB, make sure placement and pathing are worthwhile.

Alright guys - hoping for a miracle.

The good COC news from the weekend - our clan had a nice 26-13 war win (10 vs 10 war) over the weekend. The other clan left a number of attacks on the table, but we had some solid attacks on our end.

The really bad news from today - I logged onto COC over my lunch and it opened up. It was up for a second or two, and then closed. I opened it back up..........and the game had reset and my clan was gone. The neighbors down the street probably heard me scream. I play on the Kindle - so no backups to my game as it doesn't support the Google store. Do I have any options? The data for the clan obviously still exists. Can supercell get it back for me? I doubt they would put it on my kindle, but I may have an old Ipod laying around I could load it on. Any suggestions, or am I screwed?

I think it would be cool if instead of being able to change leagues with trophy levels, you get put in a league similar to war matching and then get a bigger bonus for winning the league based on stars won over the course of the league season. This would probably impact the exposed THs - but SC pushes for the trophies to be protected "at any cost" anyway.

Leagues are end game really. I just want to champs for the 2k gems and you dont make much. 1200 de per win but i was spending more then that. Everyone attacks with war armies.

If you were fully maxed it would be fun to push to titan.

There is a difference in the bases you see as you go up in leagues. Same level TH =/= same type of base, necessarily, as you know.

Why would that be cool? For most people the point of regular raids is to acquire loot with which to upgrade their stuff...not to get stars.

Those who want a big win bonus, who want to attack for stars, they can "trophy push" to a higher leagues. Those who just want loot can stay in silver/gold leagues, or try to find a balance where a higher league's win bonus is enough to compensate for any extra nexting or stronger army composition.

I went to champs not that long ago for the gems (you get 450 gems at 1,250 trophies...250 at 2,000 for crystal...1,000 at 2,600 for masters...2,000 at 3,200 for champs). From Gold III to Masters II broke even on elixir. I made a bit of elixir through masters II/I, and then I was able to profit in Champs, but like most people I dropped back down after a short while because there's simply more loot, and easier loot, and less pressure, and less need of strong armies or heroes, in lower leagues.

I was seeing far different bases up there (starting around Masters II) than down in the gold area. I was thrilled whenever I saw a TH9 (I was an early TH10) because it meant I could earn stars without having to face two max infernos. I didn't count but I'll bet 98% of the bases I saw in or near champs were strong or maxed TH10's. My standard raid army at the time was level 6 giants and barch. Not really up to the challenge, I had to take more time to train stronger more expensive armies. No thanks. I just want loot.

You get matched with guys within a certain trophy number of where you are. Unless you are exceptionally high or low you should get matched with guys +/- 200 trophies of yourself. It's not like someone in Gold III can't be matched with someone from Silver I. Also keep in mind that you get to keep your league badge and bonus even if you fall below the league minimum trophies. You must drop 100 below before you lose it. As in, for example, Gold III starts at 1400 trophies. If you attain 1400 and get the Gold III badge and bonus, you don't lose it until you drop all the way down to 1300. So you may have, say, 1305 trophies, and find somebody that has only 1105 trophies...you'll have a Gold III badge but they will have a Silver II badge.

Not in a league at all makes total sense, you just have to know how the system works. Every time the season starts over (it used to be 14 days but is up to like 35 days now), everybody loses their league/badge. You have to go on a raid, and however many trophies you have at the end of the raid, that's the league you are placed in. People who have not gone on a raid since the last season end/start, won't be in a league.

EDIT: I really like that you can search for villages to attack without breaking your shield. Very nice change. Not sure I'm a fan of getting rid of TH sniping. That means I have to redesign my base, which is always a pain. ha
