IMO it depends on the cardio you did, low-mod I'd use just whey, HIIT I'd use whey and a little dextrose.

Depends do you do your cardio after weights (like me cos I have no other time to do it) or do you do it seperately?

Is it affecting ketosis in anyway too?

As for glutamine its a personal thing, but I've seen plenty of studies suggesting its not all the hype says it is.

I do weights in the morning, and cardio 3x a week at night,
Had no problems of getting kicked out of ketosis.....

I am having this post cardio shake, according to a post by fitnessman on the sticky - Keto Diet Questions, page 5. (sorry I don't know how to post a link to a thread)

-can you give a link to some of those articles on glute? All the articles I've read say that it is wonderful.

    Thanx

If you are 200lbs and pretty hard, then maybe a cardio shake. But if you are still pretty new a BBing I would just eat. If you do (because of time or whatever) follow chimps advice.

If you are pretty buff, maybe some whey. Otherwise I would just eat food.

Ok.....but should I eat right after my cardio session or wait one hour or so befor eating?

One more thing, all my meals have plenty of proteins and fats, wouldn't the fat after cardio slow down the protein absortion?

Wait an hour. It is good to have fast absorbing protein PW...your body is ready for it.
