I have social anxiety, anxiety depression etc but ever since ive been taking ZINC CONSISTENTLY my mood seems to have improved a lot. Maybe i have been deficient? I've taken zinc in the past every other day but now i've been taking it everyday and for some reason i feel so much better
brb feel motivated and happy
brb dont feel awkward as fuk
brb feel social
brb alpha
brb deep voice
brb relaxed as fuk
The zinc i take also has VITAMIN B6 in it which i have read can cure anxiety? Theres even a misc thread on it...
i dont know maybe it's placebo but something is working...
(tbh im a little worried because this 'high' im experiencing feels unnatural and inb4 i come crashing back down next week depressed as fuk again)
any else know dis feel?

I recently went to a doctor cause I wasn't feeling to well, physically.
He checked my blood, and I have magnesium deficiency.
Now i'm taking magnesium, and can't even describe how much better I feel.

Magnesium is another mineral that many people are deficient in.. look into a citrate form though, as your body will be able to absorb more of the mineral compared to an oxide or other cheaper form.

Every athlete or person who sweats a lot should be on ZMA. Zinc because you lose that through sweat and athletes are often deficit in it, and since it plays a role in a gazillion functions zinc deficiency = bad.
Magnesium is the second most common deficiency in the general population (after Vit-D), hence why that is good as well.

What i'm gonna say is probably gonna sound weird, and you might not believe me, but oh well.
I was having migraines from stress couple months ago.
And I recovered from that, but I was still very sensitive to sounds/light.
The sound sensitivity was so bad, that my eardrum "vibrated/flapped", which hurt like hell,
everytime someone said something to me, if I listened to music, listened to TV and such.
Went to some specialist doctor, and she told me, if you have deficiency in magnesium,
that's one of the symptoms. So she told me to take magnesium to fix this issue.
Now taking magnesium for about a week, and it's working, so ****ing glad it is, was a nightmare.

Typically it's recommended at bedtime (ZMA especially) because it "can" improve sleep quality, and to ensure optimal absorption.
Zinc , Iron, Copper and Magnesium share the shame transporters in the body, so since most people tend to pop a multi-vit and have a calcium rich breakfast it can hinder absorption if all 4 are taken at once.
And as Lookatthatshine said, 30mg is plenty especially if you have a zinc rich diet as a long term too high zinc intake can cause iron and copper deficiency among other issues.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Not sure if it's the Zn or Mg but since I take ZMA before bed my dreams are out of control... last night I dreamt I was walking through a forest with two friends but we had to watch out cause spider webs were extremely dangerous for some reason, then we came to a mansion which turned out to be mine, and it had a subway station with a deli but something was off about it, and when we ordered something the waitress looked like she was posessed, and she would only answer "yea?" to everything and there was an aquarium but the fish didn't swim, they bobbed around in weird circles, me and my friends thought both the fish and the waitress were actually aliens...
