@adamssz Yea, I'm a long time lurker. The only videos I have are from last year. I'll try to get a new one soon. I recently injured my hand preparing for a strongman comp last week. I should be back in action in about a week.

I usually don't bench, just press heavy dumbells. If I sign up for a PL comp I'll check my 1rm 10 weeks out, invariably I won't be happy with that and will run a Sheiko template, just the bench portion. But I'm a miniscule presser compared to some of the beasts ITT, so don't listen to me.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Crazy how some claim to bench 135 first time at the gym weighing like 140 pounds. Lol'd I started working out at 14, could barely bench the bar. Took me maybe a year and a half to hit a 135 bench at 15? Was benching maybe 185 at 16, and ever since just play around with 205-225.
I just don't believe the misc, even the people I see at the gym, will I rarely ever see anyone go above 205+. But then you guys post videos and man I just don't know. I guess where I live theres a bunch of low testosterone pussies

Thanks bro! Yea, I competed once in bodybuilding in 2014. I came in 2nd place as a SHW but I looked horrible so I don't really consider that an accomplishment. I haven't competed in powerlifting but plan to in 2016. I've done 2 strongman comps which I won my class in (HW) at 2013 Battle of Baywood in DE and 2013 Pennsylvania's Strongest Man. I just enjoy lifting heavy and trying to get as strong as I possibly can. Honestly, I don't follow any training methods like 5-3-1 or 5x5 and don't have any specific methods to how I train other than by how I feel that day. I'll definitely keep posting more.

Das it mane, repped. Quads lookin juicy in that vid (no homer).
strongman is freakin nuts bro... got some buddies at my gym who train/compete in it and I'm always amazed at their work capacity. I feel like if I tried to compete in strongman I would have a heart attack from my poor cardiovascular conditioning lol (semi srs).
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to EthanHun again.
Not sure if I repped you previously in this thread or somewhere else, but I'm apparently on spread with you...
Either way nice and easy 3 plate bench. GJDM.
Hell ya bro! A man who sticks to his guns. Said you wouldn't post in here until you hit a 4 plate bench, then boom! I'm mirin hard, and repped.
Hopin to get to that 4 plate milestone myself by my next competition at the end of January... soon.jpg...

Hell ya man! 2nd round of reps to you in this thread. Great work for weighing 175lbs no doubt. Thanks for reviving the thread!
I actually hit a PR on bench myself tonight
Mock meet for my bench press, ended up going 347 - 363 - 385, which was a 10lb PR for close grip and 5lb all-time PR regardless of grip. When I do mock meets or am testing a new 1RM sometimes I like to use the kilo plates at my gym just because I know they are accurate, whereas "normal" american 45lb plates can have anywhere from a 1-5lb discrepency on average from wear and tear or poor manufacturing quality control.
This was the result of doing the Sheiko Intermediate Large Load Prep Cycle I, II and Competition Cycle the last 3 months after my last push/pull meet. Almost immediately in the first training block my pec started feeling strained, and by the end of the first month I decided to move my grip into close grip to take some stress of the pec and have been benching with a close grip exclusively for the past 2 months.
Now gonna take a week off benching and get some ART sessions to hopefully resolve this pec strain I've been dealing with for the past 3 months, and ideally get back to benching with my normal wide-grip leading into my competition in January.Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.
