Considering I work for a tool retailer in the UK I've held quite a lot of power and hand tools within the last few hours.

And actually a lot of the tools made in China are just as good if not higher quality then some of the **** you churn out in the states. The only tools that are of a higher quality when produced in the west are specialised pieces that aren't viably mass produced.

The quality argument was worthwhile 10 years ago but China doesn't produce tons of **** anymore.

it doesnt even matter. there always needs to be some sort of global economey.. but the fact of the matter is that US manufacturing has basically left for overseas And average people are paying the price for this, example no job markets are forcing everyone to go to college = colleges hike there prices up to extreme rates = people in debt = people cut throat for **** job starting at **** wage = no jump in average american wage = more profit for 1%. The 1% are the ones running to the bank with chineese manufacturing.
