Got too drunk, ate fast food.

Been cutting at 1700 cals, last night got too drunk, went to BK. Funny thing is I was coherent enough to remember what I ate. It added up to around 2100 calories. That's 3800 cals for the day (2100 + 1700 maintence).

I know it's not a good thing. It sucks, first time I went over my limit in 2 months since I started. How much am I going to notice on the scale on Sunday/few days?

Nah, just compensate by going harder in the next couple of days.

You're better off weighing yourself daily instead of weekly and using a 7 day moving average to track your weight, so one off events (or just being dehydrated/bloated for a day) won't affect your readings as much.

Either way, you should be using weigh ins as a longer term kind of thing. You can easily have a +/- 5 pound fluctuation in a day and that won't reflect actual adipose gain/loss.

Take it on the chin and carry on. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter much. If it is a weekly or daily binge, then you should start looking at why you are doing it and address it in a healthy manner - as for this instance, stressing out about it is probably more unhealthy than the food you ate.

Like others said, don't let it drag you down too much. Consider it a "refeed" day.

Did the same thing the other night. Ended up at 6,000 calories for the day.

Don't bother weighing yourself for a couple days, as it'll just make you freak yourself out. Crush some PR's, enjoy the extra energy.

didn't expect this thread to get bumped =p

I actually weighed myself today and I lost 2 pounds on my new scale. Pretty interesting. I'm going to start weighing myself daily instead of once a week.
