I carried on campus as a college student, legally, years ago, for years. So did many others. So are many others right now.

I had a gun in my apartment at the University of Michigan as soon as I turned 21. Couldn't legally carry on campus tho. I lived with normal guys and more than half of them owned guns, tho I don't think they ever brought them to the apartment. Students get mugged by thugs on a regular basis, usually walking home at night.

A nearby uni had 4 students get shot in one semester while being mugged by gangs of thugs on the edge of that campus.

You can bet if a student had shot anyone it would have been national news. The reality is, uni students are an easy target for muggings. And a lot more students have guns on/around campuses than you think. You think that somehow if an adult enrolls in uni classes, they instantly become incapable of making adult decisions?

Because the thugs are well aware they will not be armed. It's not rocket science that criminals don't give a chit about "gun free zones" and are actively attracted to them! The level of stupid and denial for those that can't figure that out boggles da brain.

On Tuesday, 09/13/16 at 12:16 am, an attempted armed robbery was reported to the NCSU Police Department. The incident occurred just after midnight in the Governors' Scott Courtyard behind Kilgore Hall. The suspect displayed a dark gun and demanded the victim's phone. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a young black male, thin build, wearing a red hoodie, dark sweatpants, and having a bandanna across his face.
