Yesterday a bunch of co-workers and I went out to a pub to celebrate a b-day. Tab was on our CEO (srs). So we had four hours to eat and get wasted, four of the co-workers are under 30 and married. Anyway 2 hours in and you could see them constantly checking their phone. They all leave and say something regarding thier wife getting mad, worried (lol) etc... One of the *******s said "the wifey is getting upset I'm here having fun and she's home, you don't want to make her mad" we all giggled.

When you have kids, you have to set a example. We aren't the kind to nag or berate each other for going out, which is why we respect each other. I can't be going out for hours, and hours every weekend when family needs to come first. He chooses not to go out, simply because he's around people all day long,and wants a break. He doesn't like that scene and would rather have a beer and watch a game at his house.

Everyone's different, but just because someone has the consideration to put their wives feelings first? Doesn't make them whipped or beta.
