So I thought this would be an interesting, inspiring and different kind of thread on how people get by and don't let a little room stop them from putting everything together towards their health and strength lifestyles and lifting goals with not a lot of room. Unlike the title suggests, It doesn't have to necessarily be an overbuilt rack, but I'd be interested to see those too (To see how many people make it work with little elbow space). 2x3, 3x3 (11 and 7 gauge) and beyond welcome. On a side note, I currently don't have my new power rack yet, So with that said you folks start the thread lol and describe some details with the setup pics and why you chose the power rack you did.

The garage fits a rack, bench, plates and bar (That's all that will fit in there which is fine except the elements)...Anything secondary (dumbbells, punching bag, speed bag, etc.) fits in the attic (Wish I could put a rack up there, but that would probably be game over due to the wooden floor beams and the attic being on the 3rd floor with the weight distribution). I basically made this thread to see some big setups (Primarily the rack, bench, bar and plates) in a very small room just as an inspirational type thread to see how people make things work, Why they chose the rack they did and how they get by on the minimal space they have.

there is a sticky with pictures of people's setups and if you are familiar with equipment you can guess darn close to the dimensions (if the poster didn't already include that info in the post)

I'm aware of the stickies (Pics and discussion of your home gym and the Official power rack thread), I should probably explain more, or rephrase my post, but what I actually am asking is if people ever spent up north of $2000, or slightly less on a setup that would be under many weather conditions, or a real small space and if so do they have any pics of those high valued said setups? I just wonder how many go overkill in a not so overkill situation (Such as a small room, multiple weather conditions, immovable objects in a tight squeeze, or cutting it close, etc.) and pics for inspiration sort of thread.

Here's a few pictures of my space. The room is 11.5 x 13.5 plus the little cutout for the compact sled. Overall it seems like it's roomier than the pictures make it look. The rack is a Rogue RML-690. Although I've had several instructions I still can't figure out how to embed pictures so here's the link.

Very nice workout area, not only an awesome rack for your workout space, but nice Powertec leg press machine as well. Reps your way...Also on a sidenote, If you sign up for photo bucket's website you can easily upload and copy/paste your images on here (I'm sure there are other ways that some of the forum members know as well, but that one seems to work best for me).
