    Unhappy Old, fat, and injured..

It is no fun to start an exercise program when you are 49 and have about 100 pounds to lose! I hadn't exercised at all for about 1,5 years so I gave myself about a month to take it easy before I go back into a competitive program. I lost 30 pounds and was very happy. Then I thought that I can go back to my regular (1,5 years ago) 2 ours of cardio and 1 hour of weights training. Not so. Two days into it and I strained my angle. Today I have done nothing. Every muscle in my body wants to go back to the gym but I decided that it is best no give my ankle some rest. Perhaps tomorrow is a better day. I don't think that my injury is due to my age or even my body being in a bad shape. I think that being fat is just pretty hard on your body. I can't wait to get back to being 120 Lbs. I really could use some cheerleaders here. It is going to be a long and lonely road.
My goal: To lose 100 pounds in 6 months. With your help I know I can do it.

2 hours of cardio every workout day? Tell me your program. Give me specifics too. Like sets and reps and shxt.

Encouragement to you brother! It does sound like you might have bit off just a little more than you can chew at the moment, but it's a temporary setback. If you do state some specifics on your training you ought to get some good feedback and suggestions to make your 'road back' a little less bumpy.
