Eeh not really, I tore the outer ligaments of my right anckle and couldn't step on my right leg for a month, when I finally started walking I noticed my right calf was about 2" smaller than my left (it was previously a bit bigger), 2 years later it's still a bit smaller. Rob Riches never looked huge to me but he is really dwarfed.This just shows how much a small waist ,small joints and low BF matter in making a phisique look bigger than it is.

I remember reading a story that he had chicken legs, and would go to the gym in short shorts because it made him more self conscious and motivate him to train them harder. I remember this being about his calves specifically, and he would train them daily, walk on his toes, etc. I just don't think I've ever seen him with weak calves tho.Originally Posted by BartPimpson

The camera angle is exaggerating it too... but yea, calves are stubborn, like another miscer here said. Also even if you aren't lifting, you're always working your calves at least a little, from walking/running. Actually if I'm not mistaken, Arnold ran a sh*t-ton to get skinny for certain movie roles... so that's probably another big factor in this pic.Originally Posted by BartPimpson
