Although I love AnimalWhey, I've shifted to just simply drinking an Animal Mass shake. I figure I usually add bananas, peanut butter, and other goodies to my shakes anyway, bringing it to 6-800 calories. So this just makes things easier. And just as delicious.

It's not that im not a proponent of Mass gainer shakes. I think they have their place in MAJORITY of athletes diet. From my own perspective, I tend to stay away because when I take too many carbs throughout the day of ANY kind (rice, potatoes, dextrose etc) my insulin spikes too often and I become insulin resistant, which is exactly what someone with a bodytype like me does not want. Most people are not like me and bulk on low to moderate carbs. Most people need an extra kick in the ass and a proper mass gainer like Animal Mass is just the one. The carbs are complex. There is very minimal sugar. Protein source is good and its lower fat. You do not see this too often as most mass gainers are a bag of sugar and people gain weight off them because it is just fat accrual. Animal Mass is a lean mass gainer and this one in particular gets my stamp of approval.

I worked overnight last night, 6pm until 6am this morning. Got home around 645ish. Right to bed. Woke up around 1130. I'm already 1-2 meals worth of calories behind at this point and I'll be going to bed at a normal hour. Today is usually the day where I'll go out to dinner or enjoy something calorie-dense, just to make up for lost calories. Now with Animal Mass, I'm good. It'll catch me right up and allow to me continue to eat legit food as well.
