Thickened up a lot and he's in shape. From the pics they've got him in the centre of the call out.

Looks pretty good. Definitely added the right mass in the right places. Glutes and hams looks to be the last areas on him to get shredded. Overall looks amazing. His Dad would of been proud of him.

Has improved a lot. He's a taller guy so will still need to pack on more size to look really thick. Also, the lighting is pretty awful.

Lats puzzle me, I'm certain the lat is not one muscle and that there are different parts of it (I focus my back training on different parts) but there is no information about it, only pictures of really peeled guys where you can see the separation between the different muscles of the lats.
I hope Sergio can build up the part of the lat I feel like he is missing but it's not likely this far on in the game that he would be able to isolate it, without the more developed part taking over. The part of the lat I'm talking about is the part that gets activated when you round your back and tilt your hips forward on certain exercises like cable rows, like how you see Arnold doing them.
This is the best example I can find.
That muscle coming from his armpit to his hips. It is majorly underdeveloped on most bodybuilders (I think because it is very hard to target, conventional back exercises with an arched back don't hit it properly). It does seem as though the separation becomes less apparent the bigger the lats get. I think this is the part of the lat responsible for sweep, the kind of sweep where the lats sweep right down into the waist. The part that gives the "low lat" look.Last edited by purdey; 07-25-2015 at 12:08 AM.

His upper body has definitely come up ( for which he was criticized strongly in the past )
He still needs to get more conditioned ( especially in the lower body from the back ), but good work on keeping the waist tight and hitting that victory pose. How is the competition looking ? Can he win this time ?Honours in Physics

Definitely looks better than I expected. Great improvements.
That said, his back is a weak point, conditioning was not great (very soft from behind) and his waist is definitely already much wider than his dad's and I can only assume it will get bigger as he does.
Love his quad shape though. Lots of potential. Depends how the next few years go.

Sergio Jr. looks great, but still has a long way to go.

Almost every body part is more developed and his conditioning is light years ahead. Put them on stage together and junior wins easily.
Different era different gear hasn't won an O wah wah ****ing wah, his physique has surpassed senior's, that's indisputable unless you're a moron who judges by which physique is prettier as opposed to going by the criteria. O wait..
