Follow the golden rules of shootings in Merica'
If the perp is Middle-Eastern - He's a terrorist
If the perp is White - He's a racist
If the perp is Black - He's lashing out against the man.
If the perp is Asian - Asian people don't commit crimes
If the perp is Hispanic - He is an illegal immigrant who never should have been here.Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Dunno. There are illegal ways of getting guns, and legal ways. If he slipped past the legal system, it's not hard to believe that it's impossible to keep guns out ofthe hands of ALL mentally ill people without knowing every single minute detail about their existence. Even if we knew EVERYTHING about someone, there's always the strong possibility that he/she has an underlying issue that a third party cannot observe. How many times do we hear about or even experience situations in which someone commits suicide and not even his closest friends and family could have predicted it?

I usually avoid these threads because firstly i am australian, and secondly because i havent lived in an environment where guns are legel for citizens so my opinion wouldnt hold much weight.
But can we at least all agree that something needs to be done?
Can both sides of the gun debate agree that innocent people dying is a bad thing?
Also why not instead of arguing we talk about possible solutions.
