Hi guys... I've done a lot of homework and have concluded that as far as Cookies & Cream flavorings, PES, Blue Star Whey-Smooth, and Beverly UMP are always coming up as some of the top ones. (I know Protogen is a popular one too but I've ruled it out, perhaps a touch arbitrarily, due to the calorie count, which brings me to):
I'm looking for a delicious cookies and cream. I like the profile best on the PES, due to its being low calorie and relatively high protein (as opposed to Beverly's relatively low calorie but also low protein per scoop). I currently use Snickerdoodle (I like it a lot but I'm not sure it's the best thing I've ever tasted) and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup from PES, so I have a good idea of what to expect from texture.
I am human so of course I love the taste of Oreos, but who doesn't like cookies and milk? It's frankly been so long since I've had either one that I'm not 100% sure what the difference in taste is anymore. Blue Star seems to have higher calories than I want, but if I do a 3/4 scoop it's still lower in calories than Beverly. I'm willing to adjust my serving sizes to go with any one of these proteins if someone tells me that one of them knocks the others straight out of the ballpark.
I mostly use protein for baking, since I prefer to eat my meals rather than drink them, if that makes any difference in anyone's recommendations.
Price isn't a huge factor; I'm willing to pay to get something really good. I am planning to pick up a tub of that chocolate covered banana if it's as good as you all say it is.
Thank you all in advance!

Beverly is GOAT (True Oreo)
PES is more like Milk & Cookies not a true Oreo
Blue Star Whey Smooth is very good, between that and PES you cannot go wrong with a Milk and cookies flavored product, but Beverly is more of a true OREO
Some others that do not get enough credit:
Champion Nutrition Cookies and Cream
Universal Cookies and Cream Animal Whey

Ive had Beverly, gone through a few tubs of it, like others have said it literally tastes like an oreo, the cream mostly with bits of cookies mashed up in there. Ive heard great things about Blue Stars protein though I will get around too it eventually.

I haven't personally tried Beverly or Blue Start but heard great things, so those two would be good options.
PES Cookies and Cream doesn't get as much love because of Snickerdoodle and PBC but it is right up there.PEScience Representative

Close your eyes and pick one. Seriously. I haven't had Beverly, but with both PES and Blue Star, you will not go wrong. Both very high quality blends, both have been tested for protein content, and both are delicious. IMO PES leans more towards cookies and cream ice cream flavor, and Blue Star is more like the milk with a bunch of the cream from the inside of an Oreo dissolved in it. They are my top two CnC proteins. Both are great mixed into oatmeal, and both make excellent pancakes. I've also made protein peanut butter with PES CnC and it's amazing...I'd assume Blue Star's also works well but didn't try it.
If you go for Select, you can use the Select your Select bundle and get four 7-serving tubs (28 servings total) for less money than one 27 serving tub (though the 55 serving tub is still the cheapest per serving). You could easily just get four CnC mini-tubs and save money (or you could throw another flavor in there to try too...not sure if you're a CPBC fan but that flavor is seriously Reeses cups in protein powder form).Olympus Labs Representative

I will have to splurge and give Beverly a try soon but I did go out of my normal spending limit on protein and got Whey Smooth milk and cookies and to me that is exactly the flavor I like in a cookies and cream type flavor. I have had MusclePharm Combat and loved it several years back but with the word on spiking and their large price increases stopped getting it. To me Whye Smooth is just like that and better.
Others I have tried are Animal Whey, Protogen and PES. All good but to me Whey Smooth satisfies the flavor I am looking for.

I've had Beverly and Select. I have yet to try Whey Smooth. Beverly is absolutely delicious, but it's a poor value and the profile doesn't compare to Select. I buy protein supplements to help meet my macros. I try to meet my macros because I'm into bodybuilding. Protein supplement taste comes in a distant third in my list of priorities after nutritional profile and value. Therefore Beverly isn't a logical choice for me. Select is. Just my line of reasoning. To each their own.

I haven't had Beverly, but between Select and Whey-Smooth I would probably give the edge to Whey-Smooth. Select wins out on consistency and still has a fantastic flavour, but I find it has more of a chocolate chip flavour than Oreo, and I've always preferred Oreo. I don't think you could go wrong with either of them though.
Have you considered other option like Protogen or Hydra-6? Both are supposed to have top notch CnC's as well.Last edited by DGarcia519; 07-23-2015 at 06:19 PM. Reason: I no can spell.

Thank you to everyone for all the responses! Sounds like I can't go wrong with any of these.
Since self control is not something I'm known for, I have decided to pick up a tub of the Beverly, a sample (or two or three or four, as per VO2Maxima's suggestion!) of the PES, and the chocolate covered banana Whey Smooth to see if I generally like the brand, as well as some samples of BPI (banana, strawberry), and Animal chocolate chocolate chip. Basically I'll be endorsing my paycheck over to BB.com, so if I missed any really good ones, now's the time to tell me!

All of those you mentioned are really good tasting and great choices.
Have you searched for any deals on BB.com ?
I noticed Cellucor Whey has a pretty sweet deal on right now

Nice pick up man. I'd recommend trying 3 different flavours from Select if you did the bundle - Snickerdoodle x2, CnC, and CPBC. As far as Whey-Smooth, I think you'll love it. I have tried CCB as I have a strong dislike of banana, but the M&C and CPBC are both fantastic (two of my favorite proteins), and CCB gets more love then either. Again, I haven't tried the Best Protein at all, but Whey-HD Strawberry Cake is amazing (favorite flavour from the line), so I'm sure it will be good.

i have tried beverly (speaking of which... i need to put my review up with pics lol) and love PES select - i have like 3 4lb tubs at home
anyway i only had a 2lb beverly cuz it's pretty expensive and honestly, at first i wasn't impressed - it wasn't until halfway through and finishing my tub, going back to PES to compare did i realize the huge difference. when i get to my review, i'll state the same thing but here's some things to note.
Bev - as Bob (thesolution) said, in hindsight it really does taste like blended oreos, except the emphasis was more 60/40 cream to cookie flavor. so probably imagine twisting apart the cookies and putting in 60 percent of the both sides in a blender and what you have is pretty much Beverly.
Select - after going to select to compare, it was obvious that Bev was the clear winner here. it doesn't taste like oreos but rather milk and cookies blended together (the cream flavor isnt as strong). it's also much thinner compared to Beverly. there is a night and day difference in thickness with the same amount of liquid.
i havent tried Blue Star's so i can't comment on that.100% ä¸åœ‹äºº
