I'm not a huge fan of Heath, but people that hate on the product just don't understand how value works.
Value can ONLY be perceived by others, people think because THEY would never buy expensive/niche item XYZ, no one would.
Not how social proof, hype building and actually having a following that is semi-aware that you could be putting out a product like that in the future based on your posts work.
Do people ITT not have niche hobbies/purchases they enjoy? In the same way these people laugh at someone for buying this, what is the utility value of a video game? Of an expensive meal? Of niche hobbies?
"Oh I would never go to Starbucks lmfao @ suckers who do"....Starbucks doing ok
"Oh I would never buy a LV bag lmfao @ suckers who do"....LV doing aite
Audience+social proof+product=#Winning
If the market worked in the subjective because YOU would never buy anything it doesn't get sold, there would be ZERO production in the world apart from food and rags.
Oh and best of all for Heath....the people that laugh/ridicule and mock this actually create a WAY better response for him (indifference would be the ULTIMATE messup for any product), see Flang actually buying a pair as proof of it creating "**** you incentive" for people to buy it.
