This reminds me of the 2nd time i snorted *******, my chest started hurting and my heart started beating like crazy i was on the floor at my buddies house for about 15 minutes rolling around in pain, kinda felt like heartburn as well. I never went to the hospital but i never touched a drug ever again..

Do you have any idea what you're talking about?(srs question). Cause it doesn't seem to me like OP has the type of heart disease (the kind that involves blocked arteries from atherosclerosis) that would benefit from a plant based diet. Rather his heart disease is due to heart muscle damage that occurred from coronary artery spasms while he was on stimulants.
And I have to wonder (and this is ENTIRELY JUST SPECULATION THAT I PULLED OUT OF MY BUM BUM) if a low protein diet like a vegan diet might not actually be detrimental to his heart muscles ability to regenerate/heal itself.

I basically decided on my own but I am not on this diet anymore as I was losing far too much weight, and I think your right, I don't think a vegan diet would have any benefit to me seeing as I did not damage my heart through years of bad diet causing blockage in arteries, my problem came from some spasm of an artery muscle or something from the stimulants which caused instant damge to whatever area was affected. I'm lean enough as it is but maybe excercise and HIIT cardio may benefit me I dunno maybe this will help my heart grow stronger, when I wake up in the morning now I now 200 jumping jacks and bring my dog for a walk, also like to go for a light run in the afternoon, I just started doing this a few days ago after basically no excercise for a month just sitting around my house, I know your no doctor nor am I but do you think excercise could possibly strengthen my heart again and improve circulation?

Mods- please don't close this thread due to drug references. This kid might save lives..
Honestly, this should be a wake-up call for some of you. I go to Vegas once a year where I partake in a snowstorm or two and I feel like death... I can't even imagine how you can condition yourself to do this every couple of weekends.Born in Lithuania | Living in Chicago |

OP I'm not a doctor or a cardiologist, but I would be willing to wager you had a pre-existing condition that was exacerbated by those stimulants. Some type of genetic imbalance where your heart was not running at 100%.
OR you're not being totally upfront about the amount of stimulants and varieties you were using.
Either way, my thoughts are with you. You're gonna make it brah. HF can be controlled and new medications are being produced every year.

I think I'm more or less stuck with this for life, heart damage can never fully be repaired from what I know, I only hope I can improve my situation through excercise and good lifestyle but for the moment since I had this condition things have only got worse unfortunetly.
Maybe I just need more time to see improvement..maybe I won't see any at all, I really am in the dark about what my future holds

This thread is retarded.... Brb weed gave me anxiety attacks, brb pre workout gave me anxiety attacks, brb Molly gave me anxiety attacks.... Brb stims gave me a heart attack.
Plenty of people have taken 100x the drugs of op and been fine, this is a pre existing condition that surfaced because drugs broke the camels back, it would've come about eventually anyways.
Anxiety is fear of fear, break the cycle / accept that your thoughts are bluffing you and the anxiety will diminish.
Sorry for your condition op, but I wouldn't blame it on the Stims / making one bad decision, it likely could've come out when at the gym too.

I honestly have no idea about the exercise. If I were you I'd start doing some reading, on the topic of recovering from heart failure, on a daily basis. You'll accumulate a good bit of knowledge before you know it. And you may wan't to look into supplements that can help with "energy production" like CoQ10 (which I see you're already taking), but there are others as well. Just make sure that there aren't any dangers of taking them due to other conditions that might arise (for instance, as a completely made up example just to illustrate my point, sub-optimal kidney function as a side effect of your HF) from having HF. And make sure they don't negatively interact with any of the meds you're taking.
And as a side note, I believe there are two different forms of CoQ10 and one is considered more effective (but I don't know which one off the top of my head), so you might want to look into that.

So op - your heat ef is 10-15% (NYHA class 3) Is it ischemic or non ischemic?
I doubt your a transplant candidate being that it's from drugs. You consider pacemaker (if there's any arrhythmias) or LVAD? What meds you on?Last edited by Canadian_Lifter; 09-24-2015 at 06:15 PM.

Honestly man I don't think anyone's having heart attacks from coffee. I mean, don't go full retard with it because I do believe there are some case reports of people having heart attacks from consuming large amounts of energy drinks (mostly mixed with alcohol, I think) so apparently it is possible to end up with problems from too much caffeine. But most of America consumes coffee daily...if it was that dangerous I think we'd know about it by now...

I can attest to sodium being a bitch. My body retains sodium for no apparent reason so I have LOTS of kidney stones. I was trying to figure out which foods i need to particularly avoid... I thought chipotle was healthy, certainly healthier than other fast food. A normal chicken wrap at Chipotle is like 2700mg of sodium. My daily limit is 2,000mg. fuuuu

some people are sensitive to sodium.
"The big debate in the medical community with sodium is that research suggests that only about 1/3 of the population is sodium sensitive to the point where it is going to make a clinically significant difference in your blood pressure. In addition, no accurate test exists to knowing whether someone is sodium sensitive or not."
sensitive as fuk to sodium crew. so is my dad and brother.
