Hey guys, I love xtreme formulations ultra peptide cinnamon roll and lemon cream pie but it's so expensive per serving. Its like 34 dollars for 24 servings. Are there any big sales to look forward to ? I'd buy in bulk as long as its a fair amount cheaper. Thanks

100% this.
Also, while I hear it's still very good, considering the advancements in flavouring systems (Select, Whey-Smooth, Whey-HD, etc.), I've heard people mention that it isn't quite as stand out as it once was. Not to mention I don't feel like paying extra for fats (healthy or not) when I don't have an issue getting my daily intake.I'm the clever one, you're the potato one.

Don't think you will see this on sale
IMO it's not expensive, obviously tho as I use a lot of it I like the added fat's in it and I use it to help get higher fat macro's with some protein. It being very rich just helps with cravings it's easily one of the best tasting. On my recomp my protein hit over 300g and back on the cut and its anywhere from 225-275g and that is at 2700 calories I just find it pretty hard to imagine anyone ( In the US ) struggling to get protein in.
I use it for satiety/taste primarily-- Microwaves everyday crew --

XF is worth every penny of their price. Too many people focus on the protein content when it's just a supplement and supposed to be in addition. I have had many many flavors of protein and can honestly say that XF is by far one of the best tasting proteins out there. With all of the BOGO's and B2G1 and so forth, I still buy XF Lemon Creme Pie regardless of price. There is just no comparison with any brand for that unique flavor. Been through a few tubs now since trying it and it is a staple now.

These 3 plus Cinnamon Roll are the main ones I would still like to try at some point, especially Mochacinno.
It's just preference, and I know personally I would still like to try it. I don't really mind the macros, and would still not be willing to pay that price it it were 25-30g protein per serving (at this point at least). My only issue (macro wise) is I believe the added fats contribute to the higher than average price per-serving, which means I'm paying more for for something I don't really want/need. When I make shakes I use whole milk (wish I had that Fairlife, lol) and in proats I use 1% milk, which both help with satiety. I will agree though that hitting protein numbers is not hard; I use them mostly for the convenience, and to deal with cravings (as alternatives to less healthy options). They can also make other bland foods more deliciousness (see proats).
This is a great idea, and I may consider a tub the next time I take advantage of one of those mentioned deals. I had actually planned on doing something similar to finally try Protogen CnC and Pro Jym S'mores. I do like the idea of having a tub or 2 of UP 2.0 around for when I get REALLY bad cravings, lol.Last edited by DGarcia519; 07-22-2015 at 09:10 AM.

i can honestly say that XF (aside from Syngex and SRO obv) is the only protons I always have in my stash. PES select gets an honorable mention, but i can't do without CR and LCP.

I've never seen an XF sale on this site. It's one of those proteins that I feel you should spend on every once in awhile and enjoy but unless you have the money to throw around, it doesn't need to be in my stash all the time. I have no problem with the marcos. Just means I don't have XF during my cuts because them I have to sacrifice food that will keep me full longer.
The taste is what makes the price point right about on point. Best protein powder on the market for some of its flavors and it's priced accordingly. Heck, cheaper than some other proteins out there.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

$35 for 432g of protein? Uh...
Let's look at some other popular blends.. (I'll keep it to the 2lbers to keep comparisons fair.
PES Select -- $31 for 621g of protein
Trutein -- $33 for 675g of protein
JYM -- $33 for 624g of protein
Protogen -- $26 for 510g protein
I just can't justify spending that much for 432g of protein when there's so many other options out there that are cheaper for significantly more protein. Not knocking the product, I'm sure it tastes great.

Bro c'mon now.
You know this product is actually marketed as an MRP (due to fat and carb content). Just people love it so much they use it on the regular.
Dave himself (when he owned XF) was quoted as say "I never marketed this as a protein product, just people use it that way"Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.

Its a more premium product, how can you even compare it to Trutein, or PES select? Neither of those can even be considered meal replacement. I am not concerned that it only has 18 grams of protein per scoop and I specifically said that It is 4-6 dollars more expensive than most products on the market. If you don't wanna buy it don't buy it, but I use it as an extra small meal, and I cant do that with the proteins you mentioned unless I add fats and carbs and in that case price per serving is still always going to come out similar.

I've actually ordered a burger in a steakhouse for that reason, but I knew in advance I was going out for a burger, lol.
I can understand not using it regularly (<- Student budget, lol), but I do like the idea of having 1-2 tubs on hand for when I want to treat myself. Maybe I'll break down next time I place an order.I'm the clever one, you're the potato one.

I can't speak for him, but judging from the list, I'm assuming he mentioned those as they all share similar qualities; not considered budget proteins, solid flavour systems, rarely (if ever) go on sale, and (mostly?) are produced from trusted companies. It would make for a more valid comparison than something that is super cheap or always on BOGO, B2G1, etc.
As I mentioned above, I would not consider any of those 4 cheap proteins.Last edited by DGarcia519; 07-22-2015 at 12:52 PM.

As far as if it tastes good or not I have tried cinnamon roll, banana, strawberry, to be honest banana and strawberry were not all that great. Cinnamon roll was the best tasting I've ever tried though, I'd still like to get around to tasting their choc/vanilla, I buy it cuz it's convient for me when I'm on the road a lot I don't have time or space to pack oats and fats to make my own MRP, hotel food is limited and some areas don't have many healthy options, so I use it as a snack to hit my macros or a breakfast option.
