Because when I'm listing off my rifle components I can say Magpul and then have a littany of products without having to say, "and a lancer magazine".


I took my G2 30rd Windowed PMag and slammed it on the ground a 3-4 times. The round walked forward in the mag before ejecting.

How often is this going to be a problem for me? Never, because I will never be running around with the bolt back and a mag inserted while diving with my rifle onto the ground mag first more than once.

Can you induce failure? Sure. The question is, how likely are the conditions under which the failure will occur? I'd say pretty unlikely considering that the first thing that I'm doing if there's a need to dive while holding my rifle is to hit the bolt-catch release, lol.

i would say go with the cheapest ones unless a) you're worried about ride quality b) there's something close in price

my friends all use cheap ones on their diesels and never have an issue

Anything will be better than what I was running. I unbolted the one that blew up and the ride quality was unchanged. Still got my work done yesterday. If that's the case, the pro comps are like $30 a piece as opposed to the bilsteins at $75.

Every time I look at arrest reports people are on there commenting and dogging people out. These people have never even seen a judge yet...never been arraigned, trial...anything. But they are already looked at as guilty because they've been arrested for it and have their face plastered online. Pisses me off big time I guess because I've been there. Had my name out there for chit that charges ended up being dropped for because the DA knew it was bull**** and the judge should never have issued an arrest warrant for me in the first place.

Can confirm. 1000 mile books are comfortable as fuk. Got me a pair, but the Chromexcel leather is very soft. Def a dressier boot vs hard wear.

I got a pair of Redwing Beckmans for any outdoor stuff. They look dressy, but the leather is stiff and more resilient(?) than Chromexcel.

A round sliding forward isn't going to cause a malfunction, because the it will still pick that round up. The feed lips for that mag are still good. The reason the round is sliding forward is you are imparting a slightly forward force when you are hitting it. I'm talking about the round completely coming out of the mag or standing up vertically and catching on the groove at the bottom of the case when you hit the bottom squarely, as if you were firmly seating a mag or doing a tap rack bang.
