Tired of being skinny and weak. Time to get fat and strong. I'm a little over 5 weeks out from my first meet. The goal was to do a water cut and watch my calorie intake. Now i'm just going to try and hammer 5-600 carbs and 250-300 proteins.

Significantly reducing volume for the rest of the cycle. Squats were suppose to be 525x5-6. I could have had that but my glute medius is achey. I'll kill 545x3 next week.

Too lazy to make a full write up atm. Anyways I went 4/9 with a 1398 total in raw open 181 with 518- 297 - 584. Missed my first squat due to racking without the command. Second squat I got 2 whites, skipped third. Got opener bench of 286, missed second due to ass coming off so I flat backed my third and got three whites. First pull I destroyed and everyone was telling me to put some weight on the bar. So I went for 628 and it slid out of hand at lock out which is considered dropping the bar so instead of taking a third and dropping it again I just skipped my last attempt. The whole experience was exhausting. i tried cutting weight from 190 to 165 and ended up at 173.5. so i never really rehydrated and was tired the entire meet which lasted 13 hours. the judging was VERY strict. no parallel squats. no hitched dl, not even slightly and legit paused on bench.
great learning experience. none of my lifts were slow, I just didnt want to grind anything out that day because I wasnt really feeling it and not used to having spotters. got videos of my pulls. wife didnt record my squats, she took a ****ing picture lolztrying to get strong again
