    Question about deadlifting?

I'm pretty new to deadlifting and have been doing it for like a month. Yesterday, I decided to add weight to make it more effective and today my back feels odd whenever standing. It doesn't really hurt just feels weird. I'm thinking of either just doing hyperextensions or paying a trainer to check my form (like 60 bucks per hour). What do you think?

BTW, I've already watched like 10 different "how to deadlift" videos.

Weird is OK if the feeling goes away in a day or two.
My advice is to warm up with kettlebell swings before you deadlift
then add weight slowly with each set
keep rep ranges to 5 or less for all sets otherwise you will loose form
also you could try sumo deadlifts, they work better for me
Giving unwanted advice to gym goers for years.

Ive had all sorts of feels after deads, Id go light and check your form in the mirror. Or bravely ask an experienced lifter to watch.

As mentioned above, I also now prefer sumos it feels safer and not as risky.

EDIT: 10 videos aint jack, Ive watched 100's just to get a great understanding.

    Warm up with swings?
The kid can hardly deadlift so I'm sure he doesn't know how to do kettle bell swings either even though swings i agree would be a good warm up.

Get a qualified coach to help you with your deadlift before you get into anything heavier.
An experienced powerlifter would be good or an extremely knowledgable trainer that also deadlifts himself.
Not just someone that says they know how.
