Anyone ITT still lifting? I'm back in the gym after 4 months off. Training more for general well being now, just taking it easy with light weights and a bit of cardio/core stuff. Might have another crack at the powerlifting thing next year.

Getting back into it now after about the same amount of time off too.

Had a **** day yesterday. Finish work and get a message that my grandpa has been rushed to Hospital with 4 of his organs in critical condition. They say he's got anywhere from 4 hours to 2 days to live.
All the immediate family get there and he's sitting up having a laugh with all of us and you wouldn't even know that he's laying on his death bed. Not hooked up to life support or anything as that would just be delaying the inevitable, the nurses had no idea how he was still going.

Took the day off work today as there's no way I'd be able to handle the bull**** without doing something that would get me walked out the building.

Well he hung in there for a bit over 6 days but passed away overnight. He did amazingly well and luckily some of his close friends saw him over the last few days.

Always make time to drop in and see your family, you never know when they will be gone.

Interesting news for those that may have bought weightlifting gear from Ironedge before. (I've bought over $500 stuff through them over the years and loved every product.)
I was wondering why their website wasn't working the other week so I did some digging.

Turns out they filed involuntary bankruptcy a few months back, but are now trading under a different name (Iron365) as apposed to Ironedge, but also it's under ownership of the guy's wife.
It got a bit ugly and the guy owes a lot of creditors money.

I was really lucky my lockjaw pro collars rocked up. I think I must have put my order in just before they started that last clearance.
Lots of people had full squat racks and stuff on order and received nothing.
