    Dieting

    So ive been over weight for years now since i was a kid ,

    Ive started loosing weight about a year ago, i was 350 pounds. I had lost a lot of weight when i stopped drinking soda and had cut a lot of sugar in general.


    I have a full time job now and work 12 to 14 hours a day for the post office in extreme heat up to 90 to 120 degrees , and having problems staying hydrated even thought that i drink about a gallon to 2 gallons of water a day.

    I was told that i need more electrolytes, Was told gatorade or powerade was the best thing, But it has a bunch of sugar in it. Its like drinking a soda.

    Do you guys have suggestions, Some thing that doesnt have a bunch of sugar or a bunch of carbs in it ?

    1-2 gallons a day should be more than enough. What makes you think you are dehydrated?

    Also smart water has electrolytes I believe.

    drink water
    eat some fruit
    dont ever restrict salt
    get potassium in banana or potato or VEGETABLES

    there is something like 25mg of poatssium (electrolyte) in 8oz of gatorade
    1 OUNCE of baked potato has 150g
    1 OUNCE of spinach has 150g potassuim
    1 ounce of broccoli has 90grams
